Then there;s the worst of the worst, the shite we see at the VGAs. The self-deprecting nerd-show. Where they laugh at the stereotype seemingly unaware that the more they do it, the worse they make us look.

All they have to do is write a fucking script that acknowledges the futility of the industry, and plays to the audience. As it is, its cringeworthy, embarassing, dismal, shite, whatever synonym you want for negative feelings towards something, its that. Plus its shrouded in hypocrisy (CoD lol, dudebros. FUCKING TITANFALL!) and will forever have the whiff of corporate back-rubbing. Give awards to the games that deserve them, stop the shitty sketches, stop trying to be funny, cut the show down to a half-hour pre-show and 90-minute award ceremony interspersed with reveals.

Job done.

And sort that fucking trophy out, its like an S&M Club Nintendo reward.
