Chelsea FC ‏@chelseafc 22m
Team to face @SouthamptonFC (4-2-3-1): Cech; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole; Mikel, Ramires; Schurrle, Mata, Hazard; Torres.

Mata is #free

Good to see Schurrle get a start again. He had a good run and disappeared from the lineup all of a sudden.

Aspas needs to take his chance today. He was actually pretty good in pre-season.

Not anywhere near Studge or Suarez, but easily enough to make an impact in these types of games.

Well 3-2 and the scoreline is reflective of the game. Swansea played well but City were just that little bit better. Most of us expected city to trash us considering how much they score so it's was good to see the team playing well.

Our last 10 in the league now:

W:8 D:1 L:1

Four away wins on the run now in all competitions. We're ramping up. Be afraid.

The commentators always say time-wasting is pointless, as the ref will add on extra time anyway. But is that really true?

A goal scored, about 15 seconds wasted booking Milner, and Hart taking ages to send up a free kick, each in the 3 minutes of added time, and he blows at 3:15.

I don't think it would've made a difference here, but in general, time-wasting pays off.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Distin and Jagielka both out for Everton today. Stoke might get something here.

Sometimes they do.

As ever they're just wildly inconsistent with it.

Just looked on the BBC gossip page to see if we're even being linked with anyone...the only mention?

BBC Football said:
Everton have placed a £25m price tag on left-back Leighton Baines, 29, in an attempt to ward off interest from Manchester United.

Sigh...Woodward/Moyes pls :(

That was City's first top flight win at Swansea since '84. First ever PL win there (not many fixtures though of course). I was nervous coming in so 3 points is a huge relief.

Journos are saying not to expect such openness from United this transfer window. We're going back to the days when we'd confirm nothing.
