liverpool are doing quite well this season considering they have such a porn defence and midfield.

If I were a Liverpool fan I would be turning up to their next training session to ask them what the fuck that was all about.

Dumb decisions all over, lazy pressing, no movement... its like watching England play.

Fair play to WBA. Definitely the better (only) team in the second half. Don't like this team performance very much considering we have Arsenal coming up.

Well, that's a shame. It was all good until about 65 minutes when WBA started to press the issue. We didn't respond, and killed our advantage in the table with an absolutely shocking mistake from Kolo.

Forget the mistake, we've been shit all game and West Brom well deserved a point.

Fancy us to bounce back against Arsenal though.

What a shit day.

only arsenal dropping points will make up for this fucking shit week... united losing helps plus spurs dropping points too. FUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK

Cunts.

Toure and Coutinho particularly awful, Flanagan, Sterling, Gerrard and Skrtel the only players not to let us down.

Instead of going clear of the chasing pack, we've let fucking Everton gain 2 points on us. And we have Arsenal next.

Can't believe Toure's only 32, he plays like he's 40.

But that's the thing - they didn't really deserve the point, they had no good chances other than what Toure gifted them. If Agger or Sakho is there and it's 1-0, even if not a particularly convincing one. So frustrating, but it's been coming, Toure has been poor for a while without any notable mistakes.

In all seriousness as a united fan I can only say that this is a huge let off, but we've still got a long way to go.

A 7 point gap is a nicer task than 9 though, for sure.

Well at least you're seven points clear of Utd. If Utd had won this weekend and next, and Liverpool lost against Arsenal, the gap would had been 0. But as it is Man Utd fucked up.

13 matches to go.

Sporting play at 1:15, I believe and with Porto losing and Benfica drawing, we can overtake 1st once again. I need Sporting and the Seahawks to make this the best day possible

We weren't shit at all, we didn't dominate that ball but we didn't set out to. We got exactly what we came for - a good goal from combination play by our attackers, and we would have finished it 1-0 if not for Kolo's mistake.

The last few minutes were very frustrating, misplaced passes, poor quality touches, all around very poor.

Gerrard didn't let you down? Completely watched a different game, only explanation.

Liverpool basically have to score 2 goals, at least, in the first half to make up for how awful they are in the second half of matches. Sakho and Agger can't come back soon enough, let alone Enrique.

How is us dropping points even relevant to any of those teams?

Pls.
Because they're challenging for top 4 places.

Them dropping points doesn't feel like an advantage though - it feels like a missed opportunity for us.

I should have expected it. We have absolutely no concept of taking an opportunity when one presents itself like it did today.

I don't know if it's complacency, thin squad, nobody on the bench who can change a game, I don't know what it is, but what I do know is you can count on us to mess up when we have an opportunity to improve our chances of getting top 4.

Great weekend for Everton then. Could have been worse for us too, considering at one point I was sure Liverpool would open that gap up to 6 points.

A point away from home isn't the worst result in the world. Poor performance though.

A win next week is now a necessity.

People who say that Toure hasn't done his job of replacing Carragher are off the mark - he's replaced Carragher to the T, right down to the brain farts that lead to goals on us.

'feels like a defeat'

Those missed chances from Sturridge and Suarez really came back to bite us. 9 times out of 10 those are goals this season.

Mignolet's distribution must be among the worst in the league, don't think a single punt of his found a Liverpool man.

Rodgers waiting too long to make subs, as per usual. Definitely his biggest weakness.

The goal was completely his fault, but I really don't understand why Mignolet felt like he had to throw it out to Toure under pressure, who would have at least one West Brom player really close to him as soon as he got the ball.

Looooooooooooool I swear Moyes has the best expressions

It's the lack of upper lip that makes them so special.

Our shape was awful, and we were far too fluid for our own good. West Brom dominated the first and second balls because our attack and defence were so clearly divided. I can't think of a single spell of pressure in the entire match, so if that was our plan then it was the wrong one. I personally believe our team is just a bit run down and needs a rest.

And I don't think it's a disaster overall, with goal difference (meaning teams aren't going to leapfrog us despite being on the same number of points) we're 8 ahead of United (who don't have a hope in hell of putting together a sequence), 4 ahead of Spurs and 3 ahead of Everton.

And it's not worth saying 'but we play Arsenal next week'. Everyone has to play the same teams, we should just be thankful that the majority of our remaining tough fixtures are at Anfield.

You're definitely right about Mig, but the problem is larger than him. He should definitely improve his kicking, but what is more important is giving him the option to pass it out to in defense. Don't think anyone trusts Skrtel, Toure or Cissokho to use the ball well if it comes to them.

Liverpool is completely irrelevant to Arsenal's title challenge. So us dropping points means nothing to you guys in the grand scheme of things.

Well they created fuck all in front of the defense so he did his job, and didn't give the ball away too much. Feel for Mignolet making that save and then being given no chance by a completely braindead piece of play.

We played as though we wanted to counterattack, but West Brom didn't attack enough for that to happen, and when we did counter, it was fucking slow

Anichebe of all fucking players. Livid. Rodgers has a lot of work to do motivating these fuckers, whenever we get a chance to make a statement on the table, we play like it's a testimonial.

Didn't put them under nearly enough pressure
