I wish Kermit and Manager were here to make it all better. They'd make it all go away.

City went downhill after Kermit got banned and Manager went away. :(

Gary Neville's match analysis gives me a stiffy every time.

Best pundit on Sky. I hope he does MNF when City beat United at the Etihad. It may not mean anything in the grand scheme of things but it's always nice to win over your rivals and see a ex player have to analyse why.

Got to give Blackburn some credit there though, they really didn't deserve that. If it wasn't for an excellent De Gea it could've been a very different story.

No United fan ever writes any game off as a loss before the final whistle is blown.

You'd be surprised, there's a lot of negative fans on this forum, and on RedCafe. Maybe written off isn't the word, but I've definitely seen United fans expecting to lose a game.

I always have faith in Fergie.

Rovers fans embarass me at times.

I have joined in protests about Venkys but today people were unfurling Kean out banners in a game where we held united for a long time and limited them to half chances mainly.

I thought we played well myself

Has anyone watched the new series of GoT?

I meant to watch it this evening but the football was on.

Edit: I thought Blackburn played well, Jeff.

They looked dangerous on the break. Made De Gea work for his saves.

yes

very hit and miss but understandable as it had to pick up so many threads and introduce new ones.

Still has too much soft-porn in as well.

Missed the second half as I was out. Damn restaurant had no reception aswell...but....TOOONNYYYY VVVVVVV you beautiful beautiful man. God I love him. Sounds like DDG was brilliant AGAIN. 4 CS's in a row now for him, he deserves that.

Sounds like we just about managed to win, get innnnn!

Sorry Jeff...

I felt like Stannis could have been better cast.

That was my thought too, but then again, we haven't really seen enough yet (imo). I think a lot of the characters are well represented. It's just a shame that they have to skip so much from the books. Unfortunately, that's unavoidable. Oh, I was also happy to see one character return at the end of the episode.

I echo this. I love you Jeff but feels good, I totally expected a draw. Love De Gea, love Tony V... Well done young.

Valencia's celebration was epic. Usually he is so nonchalant, don't think I've ever seen him so hyped after a goal. Old school celebration aswell.

If United do win the title at the Etihad the presentation will be on the same night apparently.

Good news fellow gooners, supposedly Chamakh was snapped with Adel Taarabt right after the loss this weekend smoking shisha and Arsene is pissed. Hopefully this cements his sale come summer.

Question for fans who attend games behind the goals.

One thing that has always confused me slightly is when the away team runs out and towards the Blackburn end (usually start of the second half) the team gets booed on their way out but the keeper always gets a round of applause as he approaches, I like it an it's a nice touch but always seems a little odd. Does it happen at every ground?

De Gea got a good reception and clapped back which I always like but some keepers just ignore it.

I think that's a tradition started by Liverpool and The Kop.

Happens on the Kop, though De Gea refuses to clap back. I'd say 2 or 3 this season haven't (can't recall who from the top of my head) and they just get a little boo.

Watching Anger Management on Channel 5. I didn't realise one of the greatest gifs of all time is from that film. I'm referring to the Jack nodding one.

Also seems Channel 5 has a hard-on for Athletic Bilbao in their adverts.

That's a shame...

Do you remember whether VDS/other United keepers did? I guess De Gea didn't because of the rivalry and stuff but there's nothing wrong with clapping back and acknowledging the fans for a brief moment before it gets nasty again.

VDS definitely did. Tim Howard doesn't, but some keepers I genuinely think they just don't realise we're clapping them.

Yeah a lot of the time it coincides with the home team coming out.

Today De Gea checked that wasn't the case before clapping back, to be fair as well he's new to the english game and may not have got it v Liverpool.

David James was always good for a laugh back and forth, also fat keepers need to make a comeback. Vds always made a point of clapping the fans as well.

It is a nice touch though I like the friendly side of football at times. Today I even clapped Scholes as he went off lol.

Having said that I only remember once our fans standing and clapping a goal against us, Le tiss in 95 or so scored a wonder goal and the whole stadium seemed to appluad it, except 11 year old me who was sulking about it

Last home game vs Wigan (after initial boos for our team) everyone clapped the Wigan team off.

I don't think I've every clapped an opposition goal. I'd have no problem doing it if it was a wonder strike from a great player though (maybe not a manc)

It's why I miss European ties the most. Teams always get welcomed at Anfield, and I think clubs outside the Premiership appreciate it. Benfica a couple seasons back was great, their fans were amazing all day. Swapping scarfs with Atletic fans too, and Barca chanting 'Liverpool' and us chanting 'barca' in return

Just watched the game. Rooney was great tonight, orchestrated almost everything that came our way. Ferdinand and Evans solid again, he's making me eat my words; playing with a solid and regular partner is really helping his game. Sorry for doubting you Sir Alex.

So fucking proud of this team.

Do you mean like Robbo? That guy is/was big! Probably didn't help do him any favours that we used to wear those tight Kappa shirts. Black is supposed to be slimming, but he still looked about 4-5 months pregnant from side on!

edit: Almost forgot, Jennifer Lawrence Esquire outtakes... sogood.gif

Watching it now. Thinking the exact same. Obv. this season still has its most important days ahead but I'm already so excited for next season. We made big changes to the side this year and it's done really well in the league despite so many challenges. Excited to get Vidic back and for all these young players to be a year wiser and more experienced with, hopefully, hopefully, a taste of success.

Our fans were immense tonight. 7.5k at Ewood tonight, just awesome.

Woohoo. He is indeed a great player.

In other news goal.com predicts Madrid will beat APOEL 7-0, close to my 6-0 prediction. And Barca to beat Milan 3-1. Both seem realistic to me. I just hope we get past Milan.

yeah the Madrid - APOEL game is basically a waste of time this week lol.

Barca and Chelsea matches will be the interesting ones, the are the only ones I am taping to watch after work anyway
