The funny thing is a lot of United fans have that game written off as a loss, and are hoping to be far enough ahead by then that it doesn't matter.
No United fan ever writes any game off as a loss before the final whistle is blown.
Has anyone watched the new series of GoT?
I meant to watch it this evening but the football was on.

it's fantastic
yes
very hit and miss but understandable as it had to pick up so many threads and introduce new ones.
Still has too much soft-porn in as well.

I felt like Stannis could have been better cast.
Missed the second half as I was out. Damn restaurant had no reception aswell...but....TOOONNYYYY VVVVVVV you beautiful beautiful man. God I love him. Sounds like DDG was brilliant AGAIN. 4 CS's in a row now for him, he deserves that.
Sounds like we just about managed to win, get innnnn!
Sorry Jeff...
Best pundit on Sky. I hope he does MNF when City beat United at the Etihad. It may not mean anything in the grand scheme of things but it's always nice to win over your rivals and see a ex player have to analyse why.
I think that's a tradition started by Liverpool and The Kop.Question for fans who attend games behind the goals.
One thing that has always confused me slightly is when the away team runs out and towards the Blackburn end (usually start of the second half) the team gets booed on their way out but the keeper always gets a round of applause as he approaches, I like it an it's a nice touch but always seems a little odd. Does it happen at every ground?
De Gea got a good reception and clapped back which I always like but some keepers just ignore it.

That's a shame...Happens on the Kop, though De Gea refuses to clap back. I'd say 2 or 3 this season haven't (can't recall who from the top of my head) and they just get a little boo.
That's a shame...
Do you remember whether VDS/other United keepers did? I guess De Gea didn't because of the rivalry and stuff but there's nothing wrong with clapping back and acknowledging the fans for a brief moment before it gets nasty again.
Good news fellow gooners, supposedly Chamakh was snapped with Adel Taarabt right after the loss this weekend smoking shisha and Arsene is pissed. Hopefully this cements his sale come summer.
VDS definitely did. Tim Howard doesn't, but some keepers I genuinely think they just don't realise we're clapping them.
Yeah a lot of the time it coincides with the home team coming out.
Today De Gea checked that wasn't the case before clapping back, to be fair as well he's new to the english game and may not have got it v Liverpool.
David James was always good for a laugh back and forth, also fat keepers need to make a comeback. Vds always made a point of clapping the fans as well.
It is a nice touch though I like the friendly side of football at times. Today I even clapped Scholes as he went off lol.
Having said that I only remember once our fans standing and clapping a goal against us, Le tiss in 95 or so scored a wonder goal and the whole stadium seemed to appluad it, except 11 year old me who was sulking about it

Watching it now. Thinking the exact same. Obv. this season still has its most important days ahead but I'm already so excited for next season. We made big changes to the side this year and it's done really well in the league despite so many challenges. Excited to get Vidic back and for all these young players to be a year wiser and more experienced with, hopefully, hopefully, a taste of success.Just watched the game. Rooney was great tonight, orchestrated almost everything that came our way. Ferdinand and Evans solid again, he's making me eat my words; playing with a solid and regular partner is really helping his game. Sorry for doubting you Sir Alex.
So fucking proud of this team.
I like Busquets! Wonderful player.
Valencia looks like a flamengo instructor.
Woohoo. He is indeed a great player.
In other news goal.com predicts Madrid will beat APOEL 7-0, close to my 6-0 prediction. And Barca to beat Milan 3-1. Both seem realistic to me. I just hope we get past Milan.
