Leverkusen fans are raging about Samed Yesil. Lot of people (fans and journalists) saying the fee is ridiculous.

RT @liam_tomkins Yesil's youth/res goalscoring record: 2011/12: 27 games, 19 goals. 2010/11: 36 games, 37 goals. 2009/10: 29 games, 16 goals

Yesil's stats for Leverkusen U19 last season: 23 appearances (22 starts) • 19 goals • 5 assists. Scored 2 hat-tricks, too. via @Ezizallamov

Might turn out to be a star this lad.

He is among the selection of young strikers who we (Germany fans) are hoping can fill the void that Klose will leave. Dortmund's Ducksch is up there too.
Had no idea Liverpool was trying to sign him, link?

Like Zalayeta back in the days...mmm...

I feel the same for the 15 goals. Unfortunate to know that he's a bit of a dick, I hope that he changes in Torino.

True, we have so many clear chances to score last year.

You guys realize that Matri, who is by all accounts a much more clinical striker than Bendtner, scored 10 goals last season, right? Midfield or no midfield. And now you feel Bendtner will score 15? I mean, I hope so, but it doesn't make any fucking sense. I'm not even sure he'll get to play in 15 matches.

" Once again, Conte will have to overcome Marotta's shortcomings. "

That's actually true. Last season Conte asked for proper wingers, remember? It went from Nani-->Vargas-->Bastos to Elia. And we were forced to change our formation twice, not only because Vidal was a fucking beast, but because our wingers were useless.

Bendtner is now travelling from Milano to Torino (takes about 1.30 hours) to have his medical.

It's not too late guys, I've got a few ideas!

Juventus are set to switch their attentions to Bendtner after missing out on a deal to sign Dimitar Berbatov, while Stoke are also considering a loan move for the 24-year-old.
This might just be your lucky day after all.

It's just Twitter talk at the moment, but it's from the most reliable source we've got

Liverpool are set to sign Samed Yesil, an 18 year old forward, from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee in the region of £1 million.

Tony Barrett ‏@TonyBarretTimes
£1 million seems low to me for a player of Yesil's potential & reputation. That was the figure I was quoted but it could be higher.

Fucking fuuuuuuck we let Jordan Rhodes go to Blackburn.
I hope Grayson's got something good lined up now.

Juve signing Bendtner just highlights the lack of available top-level strikers. I think Juventus, like other teams, are looking at a level above that of a De Jong or a Rondon. But the jump in price to a Llorente, Dzeko or a Damiao is ridiculous. It makes sense to sign Bendtner for cheap and then hope Athletic decide they want some money for Llorente in January.

Which is why Marotta went after Asamoah and Isla the first chance he got. I think Conte actually only wanted Isla, but since Udinese were planning to sell Awesomoah too ...

I see, daily fail runs with it:

If you were to get him so cheap then it's probably not a transfer fee, but rather a youth player transfer compensation or whatever. You bastards, lol

His agent is the slimy Sahin agent Reza Fazeli so he'll want some dough too.

Digne was fantastic for Lille yesterday btw, also very young, that is the guy I always bought in FM but I imagine he will be too expensive now. Newcastle should just try and get him and then move Santon to the right back.

You are right, every time I've watched him with Arsenal he was like that, but with Denmark during Euro 2012 he plays much more as a striker at least for what I've seen. He does a good amount of assist too and he can open space for Vidal and Marchisio to score even more goals.

Seems like Wenger wants him to move out like that, also playing him as a winger. There is pretty much no other strikers for Denmark though so Bendtner has to stay in the box, the second choice seems to be Helenius (scored a lot of goals in the Danish league but still very unrpoven and young on the bigger stage) and Andreas Cornelius (only played like 10 games for Copenhagen... He has however scored 5 goals but even more unproven than Helenius).

We can't get anyone. Too tight up that hole.

Doctor trip wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Doc gave me cream to apply up there.

I don't get why everyone is saying Van der Vaart is injury prone? I mean yeah he picks up niggling injuries but he has played quite a bit in the past few seasons for us.

He tends to get tired towards 70th minute mark but that is usually because he likes to start dropping deep and getting the ball, he works his socks off for the team and I for one would be gutted to see him go. He is our only world class player, fantastic vision, great passer, good finisher and a leader. Having said that, if AVB thinks we can replace his goals from somewhere else then fair enough but he has been our most consistent goalscorer in the past 2 seasons.

Plus he likes playing against Arsenal.

Judging from reactions, it seems like we've got a really good deal signing Yesil for only £1 million - thanks Sami!

I saw on a Leverkusen forum fans saying that Voller has to go and one that he wouldn't sell Yesil for £10 million. To be honest, I don't know much about him, only that his scoring record, albeit at youth level, is very good.

and Everton also made a new official bid for Oviedo, Copenhagen confirmed it. Apparently 5 mil pounds which sounds crazy for a player with one year of his contract left, Baines on his way out?

Is this like when you are thinking about something else while responding and mixes the sentences up?

Edit : dammit, way too slow. But seriously, Digne was fantastic.

I'm not saying that I'm sure that he does 15 goals, but I think it's possible. Why do you think that is that bad? How do you know that Matri is much more cynical?

Matri season at 24 years with Cagliari:
Match played:34 Goal scored:6
Last year Matri with Juventus:
Match played:31 Goal scored:10
Last year Bendtner at 24 years with Sunderland:
Match played:28 Goal scored:8
With Arsenal he started in 40 matches and scored 22 goals.
What I'm saying is that is not as bad as you guys think.
at least I hope
He's probably at the same level of Matri. I really hope that Juventus fans gives him a chance and that they will not start to boo him after the first error, because it would be terrible for him and for the team in general. Bendtner he's now a Jubentus player so we need to have confidence in him.

P.s. Please don't insult me every time he does an error and if he does a terrible season. :)

I remember how happy Kun was when he showed up!

*the stats can be wrong

In a few years they will call him the new Del Piero after he has dominated Serie A.

He's trollin' isn't it?

Or maybe he's talking about the wages.

Surely referring to wages. I imagine £80K a week is vastly above what everyone else is on.
