you're giving united's defence far too much credit.

it's arsenal that were shit; united didn't even really have to do anything.

yeah you were shit, but normally this season we're very chaotic and all over the place at the fullback position whereas here it wasn't like that. plus we defended as a team, i was very impressed by the pressing and rooney's disruption of arteta's pace setting which made you guys look poor.

That was too easy for United.

Could easily have scored four or five.

Rafael and RVP continued their run of good form. Ando had a good cameo and our midfield generally held up well.

Arsenal were shite though.

Even if Utd were 4-0 up at HT, I'd expect us to get back in it. I have a feeling something special will happen tomorrow. Then again its not like we're going away to Barcelona, United aren't a side we should fear. An Arsenal win tomorrow wont surprise many

Arsenal have no decent forwards any more. Can anybody honestly tell me hey would want Walcott, Gervinho, Chamakh, Podolski or Giroud in their team?

Almost any bottom half team from the prem (minus Liverpool) would benefit from Gervinho and maybe Chamakh.

Most teams would want to have Walcott, Podolski and Giroud. C'mon son, Walcott is better than Lennon.

So the KFC commercial has 4 white guys calling fried chicken "monkey bites" and when they eat it they make monkey sounds.

Okay I know this isn't intended to be what it sounds like, but come the fuck on...

I always order the Clattenburger when I go to KFC.

Arsenal were appalling today. The passing was really slack, and I think Cazorla's role needs to be changed. Play him on the wing or have him attack the ball more instead of a playmaker, because he's been found out and now teams are constantly bossing him off the ball. I don't get why he's not our designated FK/corner taker; he's a set piece specialist ffs. He just needs to shoot more, stop waiting around for your shitty teammates to get into good positions because it's never going to happen.

Giroud was terrible. If you don't score, you've got to at least be able to hold up the ball properly. Still, with that little creativity, it's hard to expect much from any forward in that position.

The wing play is really terrible too. Podolski either needs to be played up front or dropped altogether; there's no pace, and he doesn't track back anymore, which is disappointing since he was putting in some really solid defensive shifts at the start of the season. Ramsey isn't a winger, so I'll cut him some slack—he was excellent against City, but he doesn't have the pace to be an effective wide threat so Sagna has to be getting forward to compensate for that and he just wasn't today. It was fine dropping Walcott when the options in front of him were Gervinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain, but it's time to let common sense prevail here.

Not been impressed with Cazorla .

Started very well at Arsenal but hasn't actually had a good game in a while.

On Uniteds side; Carrick had another poor game. Ando put in a good 30 minute shift and RVP continued to impress.

My god, you're annoying

True though, he did fuck all until the goal. Don't know how you thought he was the best on the pitch first half, constantly marked by Carrick. I think you're suffering from Cleveritis concerning Cazorla.

And I think he's brilliant. For Villarreal two years ago and Malaga last year he was one of my favourite players.

Good game from UTD. But by God we had soooo many chances I was scared this wasn't going to be our day. Anyway happy with the win but we need to score as much as we can. Cleverley was really good today but Anderson should be given more chance as he is a more creative and direct midfielder and can actually move with the ball. Its easy to see why their partnership early last season was so good. I hope we can get to see them play together more often.

As much as a diamond system or a 433 is good its easy to see why SAF loves the 442 formation with wingers. It just helped us beat Chelsea and Arsenal, two teams we I feel have some of the best midfielders in the league.

So I fully support the chase of James Rodriguez, but we still need a box to box midfielder.

Carzola was poor today. Much like most of the Arsenal team. Their best player was sagna or Giroud who could've scored a goal but nothing really impressive.

Really has been worth every penny so far.

True, easily better but then you can argue Kagawa isn't being played in the right position.

Kagawa's had what...? 3 fucking positions; RCM, LW and for a lil while CAM. Keeps on being moved around and Fergie doesn't know how to integrate him. Can't exactly blame him.
