Both seems to be apt with you, for Benz is most fatigued and no player can do much running on fumes. he is exhausted and physically jaded. I already explained why morata isn't sharp but I imagine you have little understanding who cannot fathom why morata was off today. Morata being a shadow is all on Carlo. Carlo dropped the ball on morata. No confidence, no minutes, and he is expected to do something this late in the stage? I will not mark morata, I actually think he has done well all things considered. not just the benz, the team as a whole is jaded.

Carlo will do well to rest our team on our next match. Our team needs a break.

30 year old dude who is playing hurt making a run like that in the 93rd minute is pretty damn special. That sort of speed and close control frankly shouldn't be possible for a guy his size. It was unreal.

He beat him on a dime though. And it wasn't one of those solo runs where you can kick it ahead and away from the defense and catch up. The ball was on his foot essentially the entire time and he had defenders running stride for stride but just was better and faster than them. Pretty special.

It doesn't necessarily limit your capability, but it's pretty atypical for a big, tall dude to be able to be very proficient technically. For instance, Yaya is only 1" shorter than Andy Carroll.

Ibrahimovic is the same height as Carroll iirc. Crouch was genuinely brilliant with his control, not just for his size

I'd say big players are just coached to focus too much on exploiting their physique at the cost of their technical ability, so when one slips through that particular net and works just as hard on their technical ability, people assume they're overcoming something that would normally limit their control

I gotta be honest.

Toure is overrated to fuck. I watched him quite closely tonight just plodding around the midfield looking disinterested. Its all well and good smashing in a few goals when games are already decided but when you need someone to step up and take a game by the scruff of the neck Toure always goes missing.

Physically such a gifted player with the mind of a fucking shish kebab.

But of course the generally footballing public rave about him because they can't tell the difference between scoring the last goal in a rout against relegation candidates and shriving up like Wilbz penis in December when playing a big game.

He's scored a fair few important goals I think.

I think he's a very talented player but lacks consistency. Vidal is better IMO from what I've seen. Still a great player though, you can't deny that.
