SportBild: Having signed Gladbach's best 1996-born attacker (Sinan Kurt) last summer, Bayern want the same from Leverkusen (Julian Brandt)

If that's true, you have seriously lost it. He can't even get proper game time at Leverkusen, what would you even want with him? Aside of killing all talent other clubs have. But maybe Weiser just needs better training partners, so that he can make us wow

In all seriousness I wonder how long it'll be until we see him play in the first team.

Apparently Wenger wanted to get him to Arsenal this January and didn't want to let him finish the season in Poland.

Probably trains with the first team and maybe gets an FA Cup game. Maybe a few reserve games.

Luka might be back soon.

- He was warmly welcomed by his teammates at Valdebebas.
- He just returned from Belgium, where he was treated by physiotherapist, Lieven Maesschalck
- He underwent MRI scan and results are positive. Everything is going to plan.
- He is feeling much better and barely feels any pain.
- He will begin the penultimate (second last) phase of his recovery process. The last being return to on-pitch training.
- He is close to returning to on-pitch training, but it will be on his own.
- He still has more than a week to go before he trains with the rest of the squad.

This is actually a video I posted when the rumors were heating up. Dude was smart and just changed the title to make it more relevant (it was like Swansea 2014/2015 previously after the Drogba bit). He actually just took other people's videos, mashed em up and changed the music.. smart guy.

Bony has absolutely dominated us so it'll be nice to not have to deal with him any more!

I thought Valencia was okay vs Southampton. Defensively didn't have much trouble and he got past Bertrand quite a bit. His final ball is constantly shit though.

Rafael hasn't impressed since his return from injury too. Therefore I'm not suprised we're linked with a RB.

Don't think I'd start both Blind and Carrick in midfield. I would drop one in favour of Fellaini.

Rafael and Shaw have played as wingbacks since coming back from injury. I'm not sure what you guys expect. Not every fb can do the wingback role even if they are good going forward. Attacking fullbacks are good at overlapping and causing overloads on the wing. It's completely different from a wingback that has to be the main creative force from the wide position. Herrera does a really good job at helping out the rwb, but he's the only midfielder that really supports the wb the proper way.

Play them as fbs and if they still underwhelm, then go ahead and slag them off. Rafael does make stupid decisions, but I don't feel it's warranted this season. He had 1 incident so far which was the early yellow vs Chelsea. It seems like his past reputation is shaping people's perception of his rashness this season.

Yeah, he bosses us all over the pitch. Zaba just can't get at him, too strong.

Bony and Aguero up front on Saturday no doubt

Haha, after I posted I realized it'd come off that way but I didn't really mean it in that manner. Just thought it was interesting how these guys who monetize Youtube are a bit slimy. Fox Sports Italy had a highlight video from the last game versus Swansea where we squeaked it out and he was just so damn good. Thankfully Gomis blew the chance Bony let on at the end.

I gave up on Januzaj the second he started hesitating. He looks more like Antonio Valencia these days. He needs a year and a half loan so he gets playing time and we can sort out the mess up front.

Haha, no problem m8. I had just woken up and could've used a bit more sleep so when I called it quits 20 minutes after I fell asleep like a log.

If I just had held on 15 more minutes :(

I could potentially play now during lunch break. You're probably not up for it though, I guess it's very late there right now.

We can try another day. Maybe tmrw same time.

It was 2am when you made that post.

It isn't meant to be.

:(

Honestly, the Rooney midfield thing keeps screwing people like Herrera and Januzaj.

One part of LVG's philosophy is Captain always starts. So that's one MF spot gone.

I mean, last week we had ADM as a 2nd striker. Not Falcao, not Wilson, not Rooney. That shit makes no sense.

We no longer have 100 injuries. We can field a back 4. We can field a proper midfield. We can field a proper attack. It's up to Gaal to do so.

Defenders - Smalling, Jones, McNair, Rojo, Shaw, Evans, Blackett, Valencia (...yea)
Midfield - Carrick, Blind, Herrera, Di Maria, Fellani, Januzaj, Mata
Forwards - Rooney, Falcao, Wilson, RVP

That's decent team apart from sucky back 4. Ball is in Gaal's court now, injuries are gone.
