No that just makes it more frustrating. How is Wilson favored over Januzaj if both aren't doing crap with their minutes? At least Januzaj has the excuse of not being a winger/wingback. I've been saying since last season that he isn't a winger, but at least he had a little freedom to go inside under Moyes. He doesn't have that freedom this season so its just making it more difficult for him to do well out wide. Even Wilmots recognized this and he's a shit manager.

I feel like Gaal has favorites right now. There is no reason for Wilson to be on the bench over Falcao for example. I would prefer both he and Januzaj to be given the same treatment. Both are our best talents, both have made the u21 level look really easy, and both have struggled to make an impact at first team level.

Oh well, they're both still young. One shit season isn't the end for them. I still believe in their talent.

He played well against Chelsea on the wing. In the City match he was subbed off in the first half because of the Smalling sending off. I think in all the other games he's played in he's played wing back or CM. Don't think playing on the wing is really his problem atm.

He adapted to the wing last season. He played on the right wing for the youth teams a lot of the time. The difference is that he wasn't restricted to the wing. A typical Januzaj performance these days is him waiting out wide for the ball to come to him and when he does get the ball he either chooses to dribble, pass it back, or cross it in.

It's very different from how he used to play. He used to go towards the ball to get more involved and ended up centrally a lot of the time because he's an attacking midfielder. He wasn't really much of a dribbler until he started to play under Moyes. This year his dribbling isn't there (apart from the Swansea match) and he's looking really shit when that isn't working.
