Ahh well, I'm sad but not that much, cause I expected this.

Congrats to Argentina, you did the "impossible".

Congrats to Colombia too, but special congrats to Perú, after so many years, you're about to go again to a WC :)

I’ll be a Peru fan then. At the end of the day we didn’t deserve to get in, would’ve been embarrassed regardless at the WC vs teams who are actually competent.

This’ll hopefully be the end of Pizzi at least

I’ll enjoy the two Copas this team gave us, couldn’t ask for more really. Never would’ve though back when Bielsa was in charge we’d get to three finals a row.

A la próxima no más

It will be Pizzi end. This is a total failure.

I forgot to write in my previous post:

THANKS A LOT TO OUR PLAYERS FOR ALL THE HAPPY AWESOME MOMENTS OF GREAT FOOTBALL.

At the end of the day, everything has an end, and it seems this is the end of our golden generation. C'est la vie.

Crisis averted for Argentina, Chile will be missing out. Peru basically returning after a 36 year absence since they're facing New Zealand.

Yeah for sure, just completely lost our indentity as a team & his selections for a while were questionable at best. Hopefully who ever it is, it’s at least a passionate coach who’ll motivate this team & look after what Bielsa & Sampaoli set in place.

Now we’ll be reliant on whoever’s coming through the ranks, & it’s gonna be hard to replace Vidal’s & Alexis’ goals.

Congrats to the rest of the teams that qualified, & hopefully South America as a whole has a great showing at the WC.

Please, anybody but Pellegrini.

Maybe Berizzo? but I don't know if he would be willing to accept the offer.

Yeah, not sure he'd even have it him anymore regardless. Not to mention his style is pretty opposed to what we're used to.

Not sure mate, doubt he'd accept right now. Sevilla are playing some ugly ass football right now, but they're grinding through results while they're transitioning. Should be pretty safe for a top 4 spot once he really molds his style into that team, imo

You're right. Di Maria was there as well... I guess.

Enzo Perez was far better than Di Maria, Di Maria had an acceptable first half(for a change), in the general the midfield was alright, except that Sampaoli insists on Acuña having to fill a pseudo fullback position when he's a midfielder, next match Acuña will replace Romero more likely.

Yeah, well. There is time to think about that. I hope ANFP makes the best decision.

The combination of results:

"Playing alone", bullshit. He was the best assuredly but he didn't play alone.

Imagine the same match, but without messi. You think would be 3 x 1 for Argentine? I doubt.

It's a relief to know that we won't have a WC without Messi, it would be a much worse tournament.

I am just sad for Chile, they have a great generation and a much better team than Colombia ans Peru but since Pizzi starts coaching the team have been a disaster. It was the opposite of Brazil after Tite replaced Dunga.
