Manchester City have announced that all tickets for their post-season friendly against Chelsea in the United States sold out within 20 minutes of going on sale.

City will play the Londoners in a match at the home of St Louis Cardinals, Busch Stadium, on May 23.

The stadium has a capacity of 46,861 and is now guaranteed one of the largest crowds in its history.

City's chief commercial and operating officer said Tom Glick said: 'We believe in US soccer and we know how much passion the fans in North America have for the beautiful game.

'The club is committed to giving fans across the world the opportunity to get close to Manchester City FC.'

I'd expected United and others to follow suit in the future.

Well, if they were actually playing with their hearts in the opponent half, heck, if they were a tad more accurate, they would be leading 3-0.

They were pressing quite a lot in the first half, no wonder they are a bit tired. Reus had to actually come back to help out the defense.

A post-season friendly only a week after the season ends.

That's a ridiculous decision.

Absolutely abysmal.

A bit like this:

The teams are going to play one in NYC a few days later as well is the rumor. I know England has a game shortly thereafter as well so there was a little controversy regarding that.
