It's a bit small but I did what you asked, resized the original image to 100 x 113 while maintaining the original aspect ratio. White background was removed as best I could.

I think i´ll stick to mine. Her face just looks to akward this small.

Installing CyanogenMod 9 using Mac OS (for dummies)

The major questions I had were:

• How do I do that using Mac OS? (I would always get the same answer: “You don’t, you just use Windows&#8221.
• How does it work?
• What do I need to have?
• Where do I start?
• What should I do?

Many websites would briefly tell you what to do, without getting into the details. They would say: “Download this file, click on it.” etc.
To me, it always felt like reading a book telling you about how to use a hammer when trying to twist a screw.

There is not.
But there is most certainly a bad habit shared by many people around that: people use the do-everything-and-maybe-add-a-virus-to-your-computer.exe all the time without trying to know what they are doing.

Sorry, I can't help you with the transparent part, my GIMP skills only go so far. Toppot probably is making a better version as we speak anyway.

This is as zoomed out I can get without white starting to show.

Bigger is better though only really for if you need to cut out backgrounds or make alterations. For simple cropping so long as it is avatar size or bigger (and good quality image) its fine.
