To be honest, I thought somebody had already done your avatar when I saw your first post.

The only thing that I could see to merge them would be to just flatten the mouth of your avatar and maybe reshape the chin a bit. Is that what you want?

It wouldn't really resemble your old one much any more, and that seems a bit too hard for my rudimentary gimping skills without it looking really ugly.

I think you're better off going with the idea that he's looking directly at you in this version instead of the 3/4 profile of the original dino.

Ah, here's one with more moon. I didn't include the green part to the left otherwise there was too much of a contrast. Overall I like the second one best but the moon gives a nice touch too
