Anyway to turn off avatars? I uncheck the box but nothing happens....

I think I saw someone say it's a bug with the forum software. I'd like to be able to disable avatars also for when I'm at work. Most are work safe but even still the less the better.

VB3 comes with a feature to allow the forum host to host avatars for it users.

Rather than use this feature, and needlessly waste bandwidth VB was modified by the GAF team to allow externally hosted avatars instead, however this feature is not compatible with the "turn off avatars" feature you see in your control panel, that only controls avatars hosted by GAF, and as GAF isn't hosting avatars that feature is moot & disabled.

Just use Firefox and the Adblock extension and kill em all manually.. might be kinda slow but worth it if you must do without.
