So if that 'one time code' thingy is missing from the box, what happens then?
Does that mean we can't own those cars until they are up on the auction house?

Gears 2 did the same thing with the Flashback Map Pack. Didn't see any reports of people missing cards. If anything, there was an abundance of codes, with a good amount being given away at launch in the codes thread.

I'm glad they didn't pull those cars/tracks out and put them up as Day 1 paid DLC. Sure they probably were in the game to begin with, but this way, it gives incentive to pick it up new and those that don't will have to pay for this content down the line. Pretty much just MS and Turn10 covering used game sales.

Also, this means that the LE will have three different DLC codes in it. :lol

probably.

Gears 2 did the exact same thing with the online flashback pack, retail new copies had a code to redeem and 2nd hand buyers had to wait about 6 months before the pack was featured inside another DLC pack.

One for the classics, one for the LE content, and another for the Audi with the community paintjob. DAAAAAAMN.

(The Audi with the community paintjob is available everywhere, right? Because Best Buy claims to have an exclusive, and I'm confused...)

And it'll have the code for the Premium Theme. And probably a 48 Hour Gold code, too.

I hope MS has the sense to not put all the codes on a single card like they did with Gears. So many people thought it was just a 48 hour code.

That High Speed Test Ring sounds incredible!

Huge open areas? An 8 lane drag strip?! I wonder if the drag strip is just "an open area" or if it will have rules, too?

No doubt that they were aiming at Top Gear with this inclusion, and I couldn't be happier. :D

They should trim that trailer and make it the default commercial for the game. it highlights all the great aspects of the game. None of that stuff about physics and things that will go over most consumers head.

Simulation, drifting, drag racing etc...keep it simple

Agreed. It is the best trailer I've seen for the game. They could easily cut it down for an excellent mainstream commercial. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they did, given that we have already seen the "invitation" theme in the Car and Driver ad.

i was hoping for a large wide open free racing area, sounds like the oval (or at the very least, the hanger) is just that. awesome.

trailer is pretty cool, hope a cut version is turned into the commercial.

doesn't have to be, there are a gazillion red bull racingteams, and the liveries all look pretty much the same.

Nice to see the full Montserrat should be fun! And cool to see the stockcars, but nascar aint my thing.

I was hoping for a new version of Alpine Ring. I always loved that track in Forza 1. Also, I whish they would talk a little about how the online system works. I haven't seen much on it.

Is this the famous 302 chevy? I raced one of these in real life once. I would beat him from a dig (he had stock, skinny tires) but from a roll of 40, he would smoke me, despite the fact he'd still light em up from that speed. Car is crazy powerful.

Is this the famous Ford 350 engine? Oh baby. :D
