Free meaningful DLC on launch for those who purchase the game is pretty nice. Hopefully that trend can continue :D

Reminds me of the Gears 2 Free flashback map packs for those who purchased. Guess it makes people think twice about buying a pre owned copy.

That's a great overall list. Quite a bit more variety than FM2, and I'm most pleased with the broader range of LMP cars.

The NSX-R will be getting many, many miles on the odometer.

My only real complaint is that we're still stuck with the same two (old) Zonda models from FM1 and 2. The C12-S, F, and R should all be in, (especially the F), and I'm fully expecting to see them later on as DLC.

so, the forza 1 full NY course is in? the unofficial list at the fora forums claimed the 2 ny tracks would be the f2 verison without bumpers, and the f3 version with, but this *sounds* like it is indeed a different ribbon

also, no nurburg F1 circuit is a bit of a downer

I think it's the same as the Le Mans listing of full and short. It just means chicanes, or not. It threw me off too.

It's an install disc. If you have been following the game you would know this already.

Uhh, yes. We have known from the start that Forza 3 would be on 2 discs. Disc 2 includes 3 car packs and 1 track pack that install to the hard drive.

Hell, some of the cars, and 2 tracks even come in the form of a code you enter to have them downloaded.

Anyway, even though I'm not really a big fan of NASCAR, I can't wait to hear the sound of these cars on my 5.1 setup ! :D

Oh and, if anyone makes a C4 WRC livery, I'll be glad to buy it from him !:D

from what i've read on the forza 3 forums, you have to win a tournament to get VIP or buy limited edition, no auction house sales to non vip.

if so i'll wait till this game is 20 used at eb, no sale.

I really hope I get all this DLC when I pick up my LE from Blockbuster.
Hope they won't be codes on leaflets that are supposed to be handed to customers, rather than inserted at the distribution houses.

You can install full games to the HDD now too right? :D

In fact, I'm rather surprised Moby Dick isn't present. Seems like it'd be on the top of the list as far as iconic race cars, once the Porsche lisence was ok'd.

If you buy it used, you likely won't get the LE cars as I'm pretty sure they are downloaded via a code included with the game.

You'll probably get a separate code/card from Gamestop for the bottom car. All others will be included in the game pack.

Also, sorry, but I hope that content never makes it onto the marketplace. I hate busting my ass for exclusive stuff, only to see it show up for the plebeians a week later.

Nope. This was a clip taken from a segment we did for our TV spot. Everything was captured in-game, but we created a special open-door model R8 just for the commercial. :D
