It's ok, just try it once. You don't have to feel guilty.

i've been saying this for quite some time, but i imagine some sort of 'scenario' mode, where you have to recover from various difficult situations.
Rewind inspired me; sometimes you want to 'undo' a crash, but don't want to rewind further (because that last corner was so perfect you think you won't be able to replicate it or for whatever reason) so you only have a few meters to recover from an extreme situation.
it's fun, but if the game suggested what to do (feather on clutch, apply slight pressure on throttle, in intervals, countersteer etc).
same for upgrades.

Thats fine. A new track and a sample of the new physics makes it exciting for me. I put 100's of laps into the FM3 demo.antiquegamer said:I have a feeling the demo will be the one they used to demo game at PAX. Also if past demo is something to go by, I doubt it will have much contents.
Yes, old tracks are still in the game!Minimaul said:
I think it is the same. Just a tiny image.Minimaul said:The Camino extreme layout thumbnail looks different than the other parts, it looks like it crosses over. The FM3 version wasn't like that.

Couldn't get as high for the second shot. I'm liking the new backdrop though; wonder if the dam is still there.
No more p2p in rali de positano
Can't show off IBL if there is a mountain blocking the sun!guest1321 said:WHAT?!? They completely got rid of the mountain on the right side? I really liked that feeling that I was racing against a mountainside. It looks more like your are driving on a ridge line. Ugh...
I'll enjoy the IBL elsewhere on the track. I want my damn mountain back!eek5 said:Can't show off IBL if there is a mountain blocking the sun!

Changes are quite significant, which I like. If they had to make stands empty for that, so be it.
Mountain based shadowing is still in the incubating stage.eso76 said:Camino Viejo DLC mountain pack : 600 microsoft points.

Bugatti had too much detail?eso76 said:oh my
i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the new colors in amalfi, this is exactly what i was hoping the track would look like.
I hated those greens and yellows and emerald blue of the sea, they ruined the overall look of the track in fm3 and made it look like it came straight out of a Sega arcade racer; it looks amazing now.
Camino looks great too, but i think it confirms one of my worries; i think they had to scale back trackside detail on some of the more complex fm3 environments, which is why montserrat (a perfectly fine looking track) had to go under such massive changes.
Which is probably why we can't have full Positano; that would have required a lot of work; some parts of the track are crammed with buildings and trackside elements that wouldnt go along well with 16 cars, ibl and whatnot.
Not complaining, i really love the look of both now.
Now if we could just see what cars look like sitting there...

AMUSIX said:...Camino especially, with the hillside of conifers and the new mountain that looks like it belongs in the alps...
Same here. Love the vast open landscape, removing the mountain really establishes an amazing sense of scale. The snowy mountain does seem out of place though, considering the track is based on Montserratsquared said:I'm with you on that, I like the new look.
faberpach said:Why the hell would they add those mountains there.... shit it was so perfect it was really montserrat....
can't understant why they would mess with that...
Don't know why but it really annoys me they have to break a beautiful scenery to put mountains that don't belong in the region...
agh

As for Amalfi's water, Ive been there, and the turquoise was correct.
I honestly prefer the FM3 Amalfi and Camino. They both took a huge step away from recreating the acual environments.

What makes you think it has variable times of day, Shinnn? Could be the same time in both shots but looking east in one and west in the other..?
