I didn't find much humor in it either. However, at least they opened the door for .... murder? as a future plot again?

... I don't know. Its been crap after crap tonight.

I don't know. Allen Gregory and Family Guy were both pretty bad, but Allen's character was just SO abrasive and annoying that I think that's what made me dislike it more.

The best joke was Meg about changing him.

Can't watch the stuff yet but what happened in family guy that was particularly dark? Spoiler tag that shit if you want, i dont care :/

Also, how was cleveland show... i usually like it - tends to be a bit more lighthearted than FG, specially nowadays.

I read the summary for Family Guy, but didn't see the episode...I have a question though...

Is this the same sister that they had a joke about in the episode last season (or before that, maybe), the one where Brian tried to find out why Quagmire hated him? That's kind of cool continuity, I guess. :/

I haven't watched an episode of The Simpsons in years and not out of some standard or something dumb like that. Just haven't watched it.

I'm sad to say I didn't laugh once :( I was hoping that maybe all the hate for the more recent episodes was just nostalgia for the older ones or something, but this was honestly the worst treehouse of horrors I've ever seen. Makes me sad.

Allen Gregory is a putrid train wreck. It is mean spirited and ugly. I haven't seen anything so off the mark and offputting since Father of the Pride.

That's why I loved it. Best new start in a long time.

Wow I'll tell my friends I watched it with. They loved it too.

What other shows should I not like?
And I will tell my friends who watched it with me about how amazing the show was as well, and they all said it was horrible. I guess the people we hang out with usually likes and hates similar things.

I liked it too. The first handful of minutes was a little rough, but as the episode went on, I liked it more. To each his own, as they say.

I thought Family Guy was best show tonight, but that's not saying much as I thought they were all pretty lousy.

Nobody that still watches & enjoys the current seasons of The Simpsons had any expectation of tonight's being any good.

If you want to actually give the show a chance when it has a decent possibility of being good, watch it again in two weeks. (I'm not holding out much hope for next week's, either.)

Mean spirited? Towards who? Dickhead Hollywood types?

Coolness. I'm glad to have another fun show to watch.

wait... was the simpsons suppose to be a halloween special?

Don't recall them being just parodies "skits". Well I remember a twilight and harry potter one, but those tend to be more halloween themed.

Really enjoy the 'avatar war' scene. Those animals are hilarious.

Bulldozersaurus.
