Even worse, Criterion is stuck making Need for Speed gamesI will never understand how nobody has made a good AAA Burnout clone.
Not that I'm aware of. Looks like Square Enix owns the IP.I could be wrong but isn't Chrono Trigger ownership divided into three companies?
First, I heard that. I can't see why that would be.I could be wrong but isn't Chrono Trigger ownership divided into three companies?

at this point I'd just be happy to see a digital release that can run on modern systemsNo One Lives Forever
It's because its low sales of the later games, combined with low sales of most similar racing gamesI will never understand how nobody has made a good AAA Burnout clone.

Are you thinking of something like Kingdom Hearts or Pokémon?

I think that might be specifically for Chrono Trigger, not the Chrono IP.I read somewhere (like more than 10 years ago) that Square owned 1/3 , Bird Studio 1/3 and can't remember the last one, but looking at https://chronotrigger.square-enix-games.com/en-US you can see at the bottom that Square-Enix, Bird Studio/Shueisha (Illustration) and Armor Project/Square-Enix (Story and Screenplay) share rights, maybe they care more about Dragon Quest since it sells more.. who knows.
