Whew boys and girls, the furnishing bill is $15k before we're even getting to accents and linens and such, and that's just for the bare minimum stuff.

Sooo I ended up with a movie where Mena Suvari is impregnated by a humanoid lamprey like creature looking like a male underwear model. That was odd but fun.

But seriously though, no trash talk at all. Then again I've only voice chatted with Mr Con_Z_ǝdʇ Con_Z_ǝdʇ just talking about whatever. GT7 doesn't really lend for lots of talking seeing you're mostly trying to focus.

Gonna get into the high 50s here today. That's like 15 in communism units. I wish everything wasn't so wet and muddy, I would love to go for a run. I am definitely ready for some outdoor activities. Shame the lakes still are covered in ice otherwise I'd get my kayak out on the water.
 
Last time trash talking where in the Halo 2 days. Using my poor Ahnuld accent to rile people up.

Nowadays I throw rotten kiwis while slurring obscenities at fellow kayakers

I managed a liquor store for 6 or 7 years and I remember a story about cork being expensive and/or hard to obtain. That may have something to do with the fake cork we see in most wine bottles these days.

There was a push to move to synthetic corks and screw caps which led to less demand for cork. Screw caps/synthetic corks are cheaper and as good for sealing a bottle compared to cork, making cork seem more expensive in comparison.

Fun fact about Cork Trees:
  • They can live for up to 300 years.
  • You can't harvest cork from a cork tree until it's 25 years old.
  • When harvested, the trees are not cut down, the bark of the tree is stripped away (by hand, no less!)
  • Once harvested, it'll be another 9-12 years until that particular tree will be ready for another harvest.
