I let go of A Song of Ice and Fire just like I did The Wheel of Time back then.

I read the first book of ASOIAF but realised why the fuck am I even bothering when GRRM can't even be bothered finishing the books.

Same with The Kingkiller Chronicles. Patrick Ruthfuss is a GRRM wannabe. I'm not wasting my time on something that is going to be killed off and left unfinished.

I read the first one but didn't really enjoy it. tried the second one but I had no idea wtf was happening and honestly didn't care. I only read it because the tv show was coming out and even that was shit.

It's been awhile but I remember being tired of long ass descriptions of trees and Rand & Perrin being so insecure towards chicks

I feel this. I told my fiancée I was looking forward to a Saturday where I could just relax and do nothing, and so I ended up getting roped into installing wall mounts for her monitors and working on her office. Rookie mistake, I know.

On the plus side, I'm done with that now; and I guess I drunkenly bought Mario & Luigi brothershit last night, and that's been fun so far. I love that it has a fast-forward button that speeds up all of the animations and dialog, cause I'm always so impatient.

Sometimes drunken purchases work out and sometimes they dont (Like buying the complete edition of The Crew Motorfest, digital..)

I did have a right result though, I drove back, utterly knackered, got in, she'd finished the painting and made the bed.

Couldn't of been happier.
