Quite night at home with the wife.

I suggested we watch Oppenheimer at 10:03 so the bomb goes off in time with midnight.

Wife countered with The Two Towers at 9:09:39 so Theoden says "so it begins" at midnight.

I'm considering vetoing her suggestion as she watches LotR a lot.
She's been off work since the 20th and she's had the entire trilogy on 5 times by my count. 3 of those she was actively watching.

Funny enough, I never watched that film but I always found that clip from the movie funny as hell

She loves the movies. One year I counted 18 times she watched the entire trilogy. She thought that number was a bit low when I told her.

She want to have a Hobbit themed anniversary party for our next wedding anniversary (10 years).

The Hobbit could have been a fantastic two-parter but too much was added to it which ultimately detracts from the whole. I've never seen the entire trilogy and probably never will. After seeing Desolation of Smaug in theater I had enough.

To be fair I had to watch the Hobbit trilogy quite a few times for it to grow on me.
