Since the servers came back up I've had good luck with matchmaking on PS4. Only had time for a couple games, but it's light years ahead of where it was yesterday for me, at least.

Once I started figuring the game out it's gotten a lot easier to survive. I think I've made it 5 out of the last 6 times I've been a counselor.

I got my XP o_O

I was at level 15 at the end of the night and this morning I was level 17, almost at 18.

There seems to be a problem with tents. Twice now I've left a tent and ended up levitating twenty feet in the air and unable to do anything. The timer also stops counting down so eventually I just had to quit so the game could end for everyone else.

This is the shittiest game I've ever enjoyed so damn much.

I dunno what it is, but I get this Splinter Cell merc vs spy vibe from it. o_O

They're using the PS4's built-in Community feature to come together and make it easy to find Gaffers who want to play the game.

I'd like to know this too since I have not tried the private match yet. I'd rather be double-crossed by you guys than by strangers any day.

Just watched a terrible Jason spend 90 seconds trying to cut open the wardrobe that someone was hiding in rather than hitting the button to open it which initiated the chopping. He finally got pissed and left.

One of the wardrobes is bugged and doesn't let you interact with it.

I'm just waiting to find out the clip is me.

After I bashed a wardrobe for 20 minutes trying to kill the dude anyways, the game ended and the cheater yelled "You got smoked" at me repeatedly...

That's crappy. It wasn't you for sure. Any kind of exploit like that is dumb for someone to use. Just play what you can.

damn snitchers, i was hiding at the far left of the map, in a cabin that doesn't show up on the map, then another guy comes hiding with me, i asked him politely to go away because he was moving too much, so he did go away and got caught by Jason, so he snitched on me because he believes i caused his death

Yeah, on the XMB, one of the tiles says Community. In there, search Friday the 13th neogaf and request to join. Simple as that. Once you're in, it will always show as one of the communities you are a part of and you can go in and make posts when you want to play or reply to other people's posts.

You can also create events within there saying (for example) I want to play Friday the 13th tonight at 8pm eastern, who else wants in. Anyone interested can sign up, and it will automatically create a party and pull people into the game via reminders at the scheduled time. It's pretty slick actually.

Man. I hate how some people act. I'm interested in this game but I'm waiting until things are ironed out.

So this games already developing a pretty toxic community. My girlfriend just got got ganged up on by a bunch of councillors and Jason telling her to suck their cocks and so forth 😧

Anyone up for some private games in about an hour? will be me and my girlfriend.

Took me forever to figure it out. When you're in a lobby go to your name then arrow over. You'll highlight the question boxes and then select your category and preferred.

So bummed. Finally got in as Jason and it errored. Has anyone completed a game with Savini Jason? Wondering if that bugs it out.

Haha it doesn't pay to be the nice guy in this game. Had the boat all repaired and was waiting for someone on the radio to get down to it.

Another player approached, didn't say a word as I asked him to wait a second, and he hopped in and took off without me.

I was so mad I blasted him with the shotgun. Surprised I hit him at that distance.

I think I'm done playing for now, I'm seeing people taking advantage of terrain and geometry glitches that doesn't let Jason reach there (such as climbing the rocks north of the Packaknack map) and using the wardrobe glitch to prevent Jason from opening it. Reasons like this is why I avoid online games, assholes using glitches and shouting at the top of their lungs down the mic isn't fun.
