Started a game and found a propeller within seconds. After a fair amount of time, I find some gas and make my way back to the boat. As I get closer, I see someone playing as Tommy filling it up already. I talk over the mic that I'm coming and we can get out. Motherfucker looks at me, gets in the boat, and leaves. I spend the remaining few seconds wishing horrible things upon him as Jason walks up behind me.

Was playing yesterday, a good group all on mics, over the walkie talkie its revealed the boat is about to be good to go once the gas is filled up so ends up four of us standing on the dock trying to get on the boat, turns out when all four of you stand there mashing x none of you get in. We're all laughing and joking seeing who will give in, I figured I'd up the anti a little by throwing my fire crackers, sure enough jason turns up and we all scatter, one person managed to get in the boat and drive off, stopped around the corner and the rest of had a mad dash to get the last seat luckily I won.
This game is such jokes when you're playing with a good group.

The consoles version doesn't use dedicated servers for the quick play option. Still p2p.
Patch notes for the update in the xb1
Well, played about 10 matches today on XBO. Patch still didn't really fix much on the front of connection issues and crashes. The quick play option works now, though only ever put me in a match by myself with my friend.
Oh well, better luck next patch I guess. At least some of the bugs were fixed.

Are all these complaints just with people on Xbox? On ps4 and have no problem finding matches.

Some moron started attacking a fellow counsellor right at the start of the last match I had, about 20 minutes ago. Relentlessly following him around and swinging his machete wildly at him, also swung at me once or twice but I sidestepped it and got away.
Maybe 3 minutes later, I came across a shotgun. Ran back to where the others were and saw the poor betrayed players Kenny hobbling around barely alive. Went into a nearby house and the idiot from before is standing there facing the wall. I ran up to him and shot him in the back at point blank range.
-200XP and I may have looked like just another traitor to anyone who wasn't in the know, but it felt sooo good.

Yep, I found the body in one of the bathrooms randomly.
I don't know if it has to do with this recent patch on Xbox but twice I've seen the body. Once in a bathtub, and another time sitting in one of the closets underneath some coat rack lol.

Damn near a month doesn't mean a month
I know it's a small team I've been one of the most active members in this thread. It's fun but when you clocked in so many hours just to end up lagging out, crashing, and no xp saved it's annoying. I've been at 22 since last week because matches never finish.

I can't remember the last crash I had on ps4.
That's another thing. You already know how Xbox is with patches. Always behind the other platforms. While it works for other people, were still waiting another week lol.

Yesterday on Steam there a lot of crashes. Usually as soon as the game was about to start. I don't know if Steam was having issues or what.
Also, did anyone notice the DLC sweater for Deborah Kim at the way end of her top selection? What is it from? It says "DLC" in the corner of if but can be selected.

Idk I'm kind of losing steam for the game with MM still being broken and bugs kicking me out of games and giving me no xp. Also if you dont have a mic please dont play. The amount of lobbies I actually get into with only 2 other talking people is absurd. Talking into a walkie with no communication and no idea whether you should be doing something kills being a counselor for me, which was my favorite part about this game.
Really? Jesus christ, that's too much. 400 xp loss would've been enough really.
Betraying teammates is supposed to be a valid tactic to get rid of griefers and people working together with Jason etc.

The patch didn't fix shit on PS4 other than throwing me into half empty lobbies after 30 seconds. And when it works you still get disconnects and migrations. The gaf group always seems to be a wasteland.
Fun game actually but my experience has been terrible overall. I'd love to get a refund, buyers remorse confirmed.

There is a non gaf group that is extremely active, never have a problem getting a game. The had group is dead. I never personally use it.

Was playing with some randoms. We called the cops early and I already knew where two parts were so I build the car closest to me. All of a sudden, a Vanessa runs up and just machetes the shit out of me. I had no way of fighting back since I was repairing the car.
I just backed out as he manically laughed at me. -1000 XP for betrayals can't come soon enough on PS4, though I think if you accidentally run someone over it shouldn't count.

Weird glitch: tried to open a drawer and after that all I could do was walk/run and use my flashlight.
Had an interesting glitch today where I was grabbed by Jason while trying to put fuel in the car. Luckily, three other people were there to help free me, but then I was still levitating in the air for a bit afterwards like I was still being grabbed. Next thing I know, I'm back on the ground, but can't pick up or interact with anything. What did I gain though? Infinite Stamina.
So I just jogged around the map trying to distract Jason for the next 15 minutes, but he eventually caught on and killed everyone else, leaving me to run out the clock.

Got this game today. So much fun. I was Jason for my first two games. Killed 5 of 8 the first time and on the second one I killed all of them. Jason is op lol.
So this guy was trolling me the game before, almost killed me twice and was glitching. I just shrugged it off and started the next game. Cops were called early on, so I went to one of the exits to wait for them. I see the same guy strolling my way. I heard the Jason music, so I thought he was bringing him to me, but he never showed. The only counselor also never saw me hiding behind a rock. He goes to the bridge and waits a few seconds before the cops show up and then the magic happens!

I encountered something kind of funny. I spawned by packaknack lodge and made a runner for a nearby cabin. It was one of the small ones on the hill slightly raised off the slope with only one door and a window with a drop.
Inside was gas and a battery, I instinctively locked the door behind me grabbed the gas and climbed out the window. Upon my return to the cabin I realised with the door locked and the only window to high to climb through from the outside I had inadvertently locked the car battery away from every one lol.

I hate that cabin lol. I know it's modeled to be exactly like the one from Part 2, but I just hate going in it as it's normally a death trap.
So did you or this person leave or did it turn into an escalated battle of betrayals and such?

Which group is that?
Honestly that's probably because most of the GAF group has been playing since launch, so we all know each other and usually have private matches or large parties playing nightly. At least on PS4.
