I don't have much respect at all for this lady, like none, but if she cracks now, I would lose even more respect for her, because it would mean she is not only a bigot and a fanatical, and someone who ignores the conditions of their employment and abuses their rights and makes up rights that don't even exist, but that she can't even stand by those bigoted beliefs, and has done nothing but waste everyone's time.
If that makes any sense. Hard to put it into words. I mean, if you made a noose for yourself willingly and know you can't untie it, don't try to desperately wriggle out at the last moment.
