If you're already $10K in debt, what's another $4K-$5K anyway? Get yourself a 5090 and a Asus Republican Gamers Maximus Supremo board and you'll be future proof for 2 years at least
Speaking like a true degenerate gambler lol. Money is only fun coupons in reality.

I've deadass been having problems with my pc for 3 weeks now.

Now i have to sue the electrical power company because a power surge fried my previous monitor.

I'm now $10k in debt and I just fried my GPU trying to do some kind of "overvolting" "underclocking" something or another.

You guys lied to me.

PC gaming is a scam. Fuck you. Fuck you all.

My PC constructing experience is minimal.

Which is why, when I am upgrading, I always call my big bro to come over who is an expert and does most of the work in order to make sure I won't destroy something.

And of course, under/over-clockingm BIOS/CPU/GPU is something he and I never, EVER do.

Been into PCs since my teen years and never once have been curious about overclocking. I like stability and never really like the idea of pushing my hardware past what it's meant to run at. Even if something is underclocked, I just don't want to worry about it. Especially when you are talking about 2-3fps or something you wouldn't even notice.

I've been a PC gamer since I was a kid and I never bothered with -clocking or -volting or whatever. Whether this thread is satire or not, I don't see the need of messing with those settings unless you're a tech enthusiast.
Someone here(I think?) helped me a long time ago doing undervoltage clocking, after a couple days of fiddling and benchmarking to get it stable he said I would gain maybe 5 extra frames in real game scenarios. I stopped right there and has never bothered since then.

Now I fiddle a bit with fan curves to get the system silent, always use silent bios if available, always op cooling solutions, then I upgrade when I need more power, invest in stocks between upgrades to not have to worry too much about the cost. Perfection 👌

You're fighting a ghost like that, take a break and do something completely different, $10k is nothing actually but you don't have to understand it at this moment.

Just for people not so involved with pc Hardware.
They Monitor themselves without actually knowledge, u are unable to Brick them through Hardware.
They just wont do whatever u type in, if its stupid. U can get crashes but a reboot fixes it. If you go super duper omega hard a bios settings reset and maybe a New Windows Installation is needed but thats it.
