He was recently fired, I think partly on the outcome of that case (no one has said for sure why he was canned, but the timing makes this more than possible). That doesn't really make it less relevant though as what he contends happened with the case would support this claim.

It's so funny, because it's basically exactly the same thing that happened with Trayvon, except now with his wife. One side saying Zimmerman is cray-cray, the other is Zimmerman saying the opposing force was overwhelming.

The state didn't even want to press charges. Its not beyond belief in this case.I find it very hard to believe that prosecutors threw a case like that. No amount of money would be worth doing that.

I think the word association game that led to Zimmerman=murderer, kind of convinced me that they were just bullshitting and going through the motions. That's why they pulled such a stupid stunt, to seem invested in the outcome.
Well, may be she panicked and just use whatever is in her hand to hit him. Still weird that she's not pressing charge anyway if her version is true.
Because she doesn't have to. For domestic violence complaints in Florida, the state is obligated to investigate and file charges if they found enough evidence.

I seem to recall that the prosecution having an story of sending lots of black folk to jail for absurd amount of time and taking this as an opportunity to save face.I find it very hard to believe that prosecutors threw a case like that. No amount of money would be worth doing that.
