Pop up ads with video and sound?

I've been getting the same hover to expand ads from Wind Mobile, Disney XD and Canes Oral yeast infection pills.

I sent a PM to EviLore about it...

Are people still having it happen? I've only been getting black boxes since last night. (AdBlock is disabled for GAF. I just double-checked.) Maybe it's region based?

When I "Inspect Element" on the black box it just has an empty DIV container with an ID of "cdm-zone-01" inside another empty DIV with the Class "goodie728" all inside a single DIV with an ID of "alpha". (At the bottom though it's "zone-04" and "charlie" instead of "alpha". Bravo, guys. Bravo.)

I get a similar thing, but only in Chrome. I usually use Firefox but since it was crashing I switched to Chrome where I only see black boxes.

Could this have something to do with all these super shitty, obnoxious accidentally-mouse-over-and-they-expand-and-disable-the-rest-of-the-site ads that I'm becoming increasingly exasperated by?

Ugh I got one of those by accident yesterday. Freaked me the fuck out I thought something was wrong. Fuck those ads. Fuck them completely. Take them off. Banish them to the fiery depths of hell where they belong. If I had the option to I'd disable Flash ads on GAF completely and only request HTML ones. There's no reason to waste CPU and battery on a flashy Flash ad that could be better used for other stuff. But sometimes Safari doesn't catch the ads as ads and lets them load instead of putting them in power-save mode.

Contact the ad company right now and make them remove them. They're horrible on videos too. Sometimes people rest their mouse cursor in a certain spot. These ads don't seem to realize that.
