So GAF, everything has been said about TLOU2. But we're missing one important part.....
Nah, I don't wanna play as any of those characters anymore.
Youre not suggesting Rocket League doesn't have a learning curve are you?Definitely. Survivors on TLOU1/Remastered was amazing. Weird how it flew under the radar, considering it's as addicting as a game like Rocket League and there's hardly a learning curve. There aren't many no-bullshit/straightforward multiplayer games that are as fun and tactical as Factions.
I remember the community being great as well. Can't wait.

I know that pain except I'm well overLol def not. I easily have like 500+ hours on rocket league and I've still yet to get to Champ 1.
Both games are similar in how you can easily binge like 10 matches in a row and not get bored. The structure is simple and addicting.
Yes, after finishing the story of TLOU2 i played the TLOU Remastered multiplayer and it is pretty decent.
It would be a waste to not take advantage of the scenarios, factions and combat of TLOU2.
This was my take as well. If they do a free weekend for it or something I'll check it out, though.
Hell yeah! Best part of the first game! So many hours playing that! Amazing MP!
Few things have me more hyped than Factions 2.
I loved the gameplay loop and the slow methodical aspect of it.I'd still say the campaign was better than the multiplayer. Pretty ironic when I'm primarily a multiplayer guy.
Probably because they anticipated a lot out of this game and still do. game journalists hyped the shit out of it prior to release with 10/10, post-release bragging about meaningless awards, but the game is a mixed bag among the gamers and Sony does not brag too much about the sales, something's telling me it did not sold as much as Sony has anticipated. Maybe they're working on a DLC and MP mode which they will try to sell for a full price again.I'm confused as to why it's taking quite long and many months after the game came out.
Ghosts of Tsushima just announced a multiplayer out of the blue after release and got it out in a month afterwards.
Is the hype still there for the MP for TLOU2? Seems like there is still, but the hype seems to have waned quite a lot to the general audience.
Didn't want to make my own thread because I just want to rant. How the hell is Factions 2 taking this long? Still no release date?
This was supposed to be included with TLOU2 which came out in June. "The game became larger in scope than expected" - that's a reasonable excuse for Hello Games (lol), not NAUGHTY DOG which is a AAAA developer that had a $100M budget for TLOU2.
At the end of the day, if Sony is too scared to demand critical game components be released on time from their prized studio, then I suppose there's zero reason why ND would put in the effort to release a promised feature even 6 months after the game's launch.
I can just imagine Jim Ryan being summoned to Druckmann's office, slinking in, sheepishly taking a seat with his knees pressed together. "P-p-please, Druckmann-sama, we need the Factions game, it was a key strategy of the 2020 release slate and was supposed to be an important free-to-play proof of concept for our shareholders. B-b-baka!"
