First and foremost...any version of Doom, any difficulty level, it doesn't matter. All that matters is getting through the Hangar level on Episode I as fast as possible.
That's damn impressive, Belfast. I only get stopped for a split second behind the doors in Doom, and I didn't think that cut off that much time, haha. Damn the fact you can't do shift+space.
I haven't played Doom in so long, so I've forgotten. What do you do on level 1 to go so fast? Is it just running through the level, opening a few doors, and that's it? I thought there was one room where you had to kill all the enemies first?
Actually, I used to do this with the first level in Duke 3D. I remember having the developer time beaten easily (and that's when I used to use a pad to play those games).
