I jumped the gun in creating a clan symbol for the GAF clan in Halo 2, learning only after starting doing it that user made symbols can't be made.

I finished it anyway. As for the design, I figured that the MAF icon has entered public domain recently, so I might as well use it as the most distinguishable GAF symbol.

For those wondering, I did not spend more than one and a half an hour on this.

Yep, did it in Freehand. I was looking back at the old stuff and it seemed that the eyes, mouth and eyebrows are pretty impressionist, without strict proportions or positions. So I took a couple of the recent MAF interpretations and based the design on those.

Offical hires raster of the MAF logo I made a couple years ago. It scales down into a somewhat cleaner yet matching copy of the original created by MAF.

Not yet. If there's a high enough demand for them, it could happen but right now we're just planning on printing a T-shirt. In a week or so I'll have a thread to finalize the design, then send it off to our printers. You guys have any requested tweaks?
