This the one I['m] had[/having] the most, it ranges from average to great.

This has a great "taste" to it, but is often awkward and "unfullfiling" at the same time.

From my experience, this sucked, probably due to it being "charity sex" on my part, and under heavy influence.

I keep hoping I haven't had my "best" sex just yet since I'm still pretty damn young. At the same time, I am married, so the wife and I have to kinda make-up new shit all the time to keep things fresh. Best is sex with a long-term partner because you can really dig in and get crazy, kinky, whatever, but it's all safe and loving too.

However, I've had a couple mind blowing one night stands that I wouldn't trade for anything. Some really shockingly transcendent moments can be had with a total stranger. There's no baggage, no identity, it's just chemistry and if it's there, damn.

Sex with a new partner is good, but usually not as good as with someone you really know and love or with a hawt stranger you have no intention of knowing further in any meaningful way.

I only had one round of ex-sex and I just found it sad and difficult. So definitely nix on that.

I had one and only one incident of cheating. I was trying to dump this clingy, obsessed German. Meanwhile, there was this asshole who always had it out for me and had tried to block me from a job, talked shit constantly, etc. This asshole had a hot boyfriend who was into me. Well, one night I ran into said hottie while trying to dump the German. One thing led to another and I managed to cheat, end two relationships and have revenge all in one fell swoop. Plus it was super hot. So, um yay for that?

Ex-girlfriend sex is AMAZING. You already know what to do and you already know it isn't going anywhere emotional since you've been there, done that. Plus, any negativity lends some extra spice to the action. Then again, I might be biased since one of my ex-girlfriends happens to be my gold standard for sex. If she showed up at my door tomorrow wanting to get naked, I don't know if I could turn her down.

Only slightly lower on the list are the times I've slept with someone who was cheating, or at the very least dating someone else as the "primary" boyfriend even though their relationship was open. In those cases, the reason they are straying is because they aren't getting what they need at home, and the sex is usually pretty spectacular. There's also the extra "danger" element which makes it more fun...though getting busted isn't fun.

New partners are a mixed bag since you don't know what you're getting, and no matter how good they MIGHT be in principle, you have to get through the awkward early stages where you don't quite know how to please them and you're trying to figure out why they want you to wear a baby bonnet and spank them. (Just kidding.) Then again, you're so hyped up with someone NEW that it can overcome a lot of the negatives.

"Friends with benefits" sneaks in one notch higher on the list because you minimize the upfront awkwardness by knowing the person well in the first place and the sex is consequently better. As pointed out, though, the awkwardness at the END is usually quite profound.

I've never had a long-term relationship of a year-plus with regular sex, so I can't contribute there. My general impression in my current longish relationship, though, it that it tends towards same-old same-old more than new and exciting frontiers of sex.

All of my one-night stands have been unspectacular, or just depressing. I'm sure that they COULD be great experiences, but I've been unlucky, I guess.

That's a double-edged knife. You either do it often or you embark into the routine of being a couple. When you do it, if your partner is "willing" to do extra stuff, then it can be very fun. Comes second after E

I guess this is the best kind of sex I had in my life. It's not really the sexual intercourse that is good but how you get the girl to sleep with you. I'm not a stud so I'm not the kind of guy that can pick up girls just by saying hello. So when you put a lot of work into it and then have sex with that person that you just met the same day is just too cool. That is the main reason why I won't bother with point D.

I cheated my first gf with another girl that was cheating on her bf. She was very good at it and it was very pleasant sex but it should have stayed like that (I dated the same girl for 2 years after, 2 wasted years)
