This year was hard. There was no real "stand out" definitive #1s for me like last year, which made ranking them hard. Wasnt that hard to find 10, but ordering them was very tough - there were a lot of really tight, unique, awesome experiences this year like NMH and TWEWY that its hard placing one over the other...

Honestly, I had to double check the date myself before I submitted :)
Feels like forever ago since I played it.

All in all, February was a really good month this year. Between end of Jan and Feb, early 2007 was better than most the rest of the year.
 
I haven't really played that many games that were released in 2008, since I've been playing some games that were released in the past few years. But, from what I have played, these are my top few games.

1) Fable II
2) Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
3) Bionic Commando Rearmed
4) Grand Theft Auto IV

By the way, when does voting end. I may soon have a couple games to add to this list.

You! Why do you have Disgaea 3 on your list (nothing wrong with that, but it indicates that you both own a PS3 and like SRPGs) but not Valkyria Chronicles? Huh? This is an outrage!

Up through page 10 now. Will do more tomorrow. LBP in second, Valkyria is climbing, and Grand Theft Auto IV out of the top 5.

Thanks. Those three games were the only three where, at some point, I decided to go back to playing them instead of starting something new. Thought I'd play GTA IV, played Burnout instead. Planned on TWEWY, but wound up going for the stars in Braid. Was about to start up Persona 4, but wound up sinking 2.5 hours into a no-gun run of Mirror's Edge. There were other games that were good, that I really enjoyed, but none really captured my attention like those three.

I've given Fable 2 and a couple of other games another whole day to wow me. I can't say I've been wowed. Fable 2 is very relaxing and hard to put down, but it doesn't really do much...

I did get about an hour and a half in. Met Teddie for the first time and called it a night. The strategy guide has a mistake I noticed in the character section. Dojima's description is listed twice, once for himself and once for some lady's. Reminded me of the time when Final Fantasy XII's guide said "go to page "???"" where it literally read "???" each time instead of a page number.

I like stories.
