Most of the games I've played this year have been backlog from previous years (Oblivion, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider Anniversary/Legend), it's only the last few months I've managed to turn my attention to games out this year.

Just started Fallout 3 and digging it so far, but currently my list sits as follows:-

1. Dead Space
2. Gears of War 2
3. Geometry Wars 2
4. Braid
5. Fallout 3

It's looking likely that 2009 will start off similar, will be playing through Fallout, Left 4 Dead, Fable 2, Tomb Raider Underworld, COD World at War and any other games I get for or after Xmas. Also might pick up a PS3 when it drops in price (whenever that may be) to catch up on Uncharted, MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles.

Hell, I've still got Condemned, Saints Row, Blue Dragon and GTA IV all sitting unopened to play through as well! :lol Too many games and not enough time! :lol

So far there isn't that much announced for 2009 (that will actually come out in 2009) that I'm really excited for and may end up in my GOTY list for 2009:-

Halo Wars and ODST, Alan Wake, Bioshock 2, Crackdown 2(PLEASE!!!), Killzone 2 (when I get a PS3) maybe Streetfighter IV. Hoping to hear Mass Effect 2 get announced at some point soon too.
