Hmm, this will probably change...

1) Lost Odyssey - I had completely forgotten this was a 08 title and I almost left it off my list because of that.

2) Fallout 3 - waited forever for this. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but still an amazing game.

3) Tales of Vesperia - caught me completely by surprise. excellent game, still need to finish it.

4) Left 4 Dead - met all of my expectations. will play this well throuout 2009. Can't wait for the awesome mods.

5) Dead Space - it was like a game designer came to my house and asked what kind of game I would like to play. Then broke out Dead Space.

6) Geometry Wars 2 - utterly simple, beautiful little game.

7) SF2 Turbo Remix HD - my current addiction, and even better than I remember it.


Overall, a decent year for me. I played significantly less games this year than last. Played quite a few 07 titles this year, and TF2 took up a lot of my gaming time as well as really long RPGs. I probably forgot a few I'll have to add later.

This year could be capped as the year where I began taking an interest in racing games again, all thanks to Burnout Paradise. Still, LittleBigPlanet takes top honors for being as unbelievably amazing as it is, followed by a game I wasn't that excited about at first, but when I played it, the thing knocked me off my feet (Metal Gear Solid 4).
