..."The Believer," that production.... Man, I just don't know anymore. The range and progression on that track, it's in such a thematic unison with Common & Legend's vox/lyrics... It's easily the best produced track I've heard all year.

no. its fucking awesome. I know its been out for a while, but FAME has a very unique sounding beat.
shouldve gotten Luger instead of the Lil' Lody's Great Value beats.
album's decent tho. tracks 3-12 are pretty good minus that Ne-Yo joint. Ne-Yo automatically makes any track bad.

As for other producers, GAFhop does have great ones, but you came to the table first, and it's better to reach a quick consensus with someone ready and able, rather than wait on a bunch of hands and, ultimately have it hang in the wind like most Gafhop collaborative attempts.

Nah, don't suggest this. I regret not having waited on the disc. This production deserves the best possible listening scenario.

the Justice League beats in particular were really disappointing on TM103, overall the album should have come out a long time ago because the wait was not worth it
That sucks. I would be pist off at myself because I like to think that the artists put some thought into their tracklists and not listen to it the way they intended.
It's a massive pet peeve of mine too.. I saw Recon's post praising the sequencing and thought to myself... ...fuck :/

A little late to the Ross discussion, but I've liked him since Deeper than Rap. The 50 beef didn't really make him more relevant (i'd say 50 came out the winner with all of the. Ids, Officer Ricky chants and Tia Told Me.)
But, post Trilla, the mix of his upgraded lyricism with Justice League prodution was a great marriage. Teflon Don added Lex Luger beats to the mix. His music tends to be smooth braggadacio with a hint of limon swag or vividly hard street joints over that super heavy bass (see 9 Piece.)
I think the only thing missing is say a few strong radio friendly joints. He seems to be on the cusp off greatness.
Watch The Throne should of been Jay, Rick Ross, T.I. and Kanye over Lex Luger, J League, Euro and soulfull Kanye.

very excited for that Drake/Ross mixtape though. They make a pretty good duo.
I'm torn. I really like the direction you took with this one's sampling, and it does have that christmas spirit, but I do wish it was a bit grimier, if possible. Any way to mix the aesthetics without completely losing what you have here? Cause if not, I'd be down to roll with a finished version of this.
Also, did anyone else want to get in on this?
