Yeah I love the beat but it's not really a "posse" cut. A beat with 7,8 dudes on it needs to be a little more stripped down and simple, just to accommodate everyone's style. Regardless if everyone else wants it I have no problem putting a verse to it

speaking of, bar limit? 16's for everyone seems a bit much, maybe 12's

I think 8 or 12 would be the limit. I know we did 16's last year, but that felt overly long.

It's pretty cray, but I'll give it a go raw then. Never had another guy mix my junk before. I feel kinda naked. I usually do quite a bit of tinkering, but it's pretty amateur. Gonna trust you here Yoda. If it ain't grimey, you're not done mixing it yet.

But you got it there. I'm rapping over that one.

Try a slowed and regular version and see what people think. Not screwed slow, but like, 10-15% from where you are now. Maybe even 20. Just to where it's not screwed sounding, but still slow.

I think he should leave it as is. MAYBE slow it down but very little and then someone should chop & screw the track when it's all done.

So Shinobi,

I was so inspired by your Harlem Mantis beat that I did a quick freestyle and recorded myself on video. Just got home, had a few too many, and didnt even take my clothes off, just recorded. If you don't mind I will post it here.

Maybe I'll do a little screw mix of the track we do. That would be dope with the vocals pitched. Might even take the time to through some chops in, can't promise because it's hard as fuck for me without a physical sampler.

I wish I had my laptop with the songs I screwed on it. I got into for a while. Wasn't very good, but it would be cool to share.

EDIT: I'm gonna try to make you trill Yoda. Gimmie a couple minutes.

Recon can send you the separate vocals too that way you can mess with each verse independently

Probably should leave it to a a panel of independents to decide placement or trust peterboy/recon to decide after we send em all the verses and they put it all together.

although if we are calling it, I did write my lyrics as if they fit in spot one. But I'm fine with whenever.
