depends on what you consider a lot.

but its definitely more than what he had. that was one of the big talking points of the mixtape.

I'm not saying he was on it, but he was pretty focused which is not something I really expect from GFK. His answers were long as fuck for no reason too either.

he rambles in every interview though tbh, also nardwuar just inspires weirdness in other people

downloading! thanks man.

Might as well be an acapella tape then if we're throwing flow out of the equation.

The one track they've done, Kendrick Lamar flow killed Cole's by miles. Just putting that out there.

But yeah wtf? Excluding Cole?

Edit: Actually, I think Kendrick Lamar does really well over Cole beats.

One must counter-troll ignorance with ignorance.

But really, Kendrick sees no problem in tripping over his own words, his EP was garbage because of it. He's getting better at it though with Section80.

Really? I personally think Kendrick has a great flow. He is just different compared to everybody else. Which is most likely why I enjoy his music more then most artists.

haha, laughed pretty hard at that one.

Yeah, I actually haven't went back to his EP or OD in awhile. Probably will still just like the same 5 or so songs that I did when I first heard it.

Listening to Jeezy's TM 103 and I wish a real good MC got on these beats and made an album out of them instead of a collection of catchy hooks and mediocre verses. They're also begging for someone with more than 2 flows. It's solid riding music, I guess, but no way it touches my top 10.

Oh, and that Common is a little meh. Some really good tracks, but I wasn't feeling it that much as a whole.

Undun wins December by a landslide.

The biggest problem with The Dreamer / The Believer so far is Sweet. It's reaching critical levels of exaggeration and fits nowhere with the rest of the album. Ghetto Dreams doesn't fit anywhere either, but at least it goes.

And sorry I meant Overly Dedicated, not the EP. Haven't heard the EP.

Good to hear Ross is dropping a mixtape. Some people (*cough jeezy fans*) have been throwing rocks at the throne, claiming Rozay's singles flopped and he got pushed back. The man had two seizures. He didn't have time or health to do videos for either song, or to tour and grind things out on the road. I'm not saying those bad singles would have become hits if he was healthy, but they certainly would have done better if he was around to promote them, do the videos, etc. Plus he could have easily released another single.

Remember, Super Fly wasn't a really a hit either. Teflon Don took off due to BMF and later Aston Martin Music, plus the fact that the album was dope as hell.

This is just another chapter in the god's story. He'll meet this adversary with a dope mixtape, then kill everything next spring with the album.

This is probably a better question during the day time but whatever.

I'm curious out of the last 3 years, what rappers debut album through a major label company did yall enjoy the most?

Wale - Attention Deficit
BoB - The Adventures of Bobby Ray
Yelawolf - Radioactive
J. Cole - Cole World
Drake - Thank Me Later
Jay Electronica - The Nacirema Dream
Asher Roth - Asleep in the Bread Aisle
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon
Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday
Glasses Malone - Beach Cruiser

I'm sure I missed some, those were just off the top of my head so feel free to add one I missed.

I'm sure most of the answers will probably be Kid Cudi.

Mine would probably go Cudi>BoB>Cole>then everything else. Yelawolf might get named, been listening to it lately and it's growing on me.

Listening to this album, I almost feel like The Sweet is talking about the rest of the album, and Common's past couple albums

God I wish somebody would take over and destroy the Sweet beat already. Common sounds like he's fucking crying at the end of it.

I'm kind of surprised to see such a backlash to Sweet now. Back when it was released only PD was the one who seemed he wasn't feeling it or maybe my memory is bad.

Was it an early leak, cause if not I've been roasting that shit since hearing the album. Dat beat, it's big as hell, but Common; he puts on this front to match it that just... yeah, shit doesn't work.

Yea an early leak

Ah, crazy. It flew all under my radar.

I'm not a Cudi dude either but Man on the Moon was a great album.

You know what, I'm gonna chill and just give this a listen tonight. Maybe I've been in the wrong place for it all this time or some shit, because everyone, and I mean everyone I've talked to about this album hails it as some kind of genius.
