The madlib thing is a 6 song EP called Cracks in the Vinyl. It was released two days ago for free on bandcamp but they've taken it down. You can still find it though with google-fu.

Rae's tape is called Unexpected Victory and I think that's about all we know.

see, GAF-hop's love of Teflon Don got me to check it out, and i kept a few tracks too but it's not like i revisit them much. i dont even think there's anything particularly awful about dude, just that if i want coke rap, ive got better sources for that.

it's like a few here who describe Cole the same way - technically, he's fine on paper, just nothing that holds/sticks with you. granted that i live in MIA, but i dont actively seek out Ross' music the same way i don't actively seek out oatmeal: if shit's around, i'll eat it, but only if there's absolutely nothing better to be found.
