feel bad for mocking courage about stanning the new carly rae jepsen, cause it probably is the best pop record of the year
No way man.

This dude Macklemore really about to get another grammy making essentially the same song as Thrift Shop brehs
Really not feeling him "exploiting" legends in the video for that "legit hiphop cred"
I just hope the check was fat
What are you even talking about?
I don't see anything exploitative about that. He gave OGs some shine in 2015 and mixed 80s hip hop with disco while paying homage to West Side Story. I'm not gonna hate on him. Not a fan of the song but hey...that might be the best paycheck those legends have gotten in decades.
I didn't the the exploitative vibe from it at all. Its just another dumb/fun anthemic radio-friendly song from Macklelmore. This dude Macklemore really about to get another grammy making essentially the same song as Thrift Shop brehs

The thing with Macklemore is that he is obviously a gimmick and trying to do the whole "I'm different" bullshit. In reality, Murs did it betterand deserves more recognition
Loved this Murs album back in the days:

Nah sorry nerds, this shit fire
Can't let glorified OT posters front on heat...aint gonna happen
I think that's the best way to describe it. It's safe. It doesn't hit as hard as the Trilogy, and I guess it makes sense because there was no way in hell that Abel was going to be in the mainstream. I think he even apologized before Kiss Land dropped that his future sound may not be the same as his past stuff.Hadn't found the motivation to even post about the new Weeknd album yet, but my feelings are the same as everyone else's. Wanted to give it a couple more spins...but I think I've heard enough.
The singles we've known for months or even a year or as good as ever, but the new tracks, which aren't many, are all flops for me. I guess it's a case of "be careful what you wish for". I wanted Abel to make a pop record. I wanted him to blow up like this. But BBTM is so safe, and so boring. Lacking everything that made his past work stand out minus his voice. He still uses most of the same themes as before, but this time around it almost sounds like parody of himself. Kissland had problems but there was a lot of great content there. Here I can't find much to salvage aside from the tracks I've already played out at this point.
The lead up till this album tells me Abel is at the top of his game, which makes this misfire hurt a little extra, but I'll wait for him to come around. I'm sure while we wait for something better his new audience will eat this record up.
haha yeah those nerds man smh
hey anyone know what anime lupe named his last album after
What's animal control's number because this dog's been hit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGhoLcsr8GA
Figured everyone saw it by now because I'm kinda late on it
I just don't see any sincerity in it from him. That may very well just be me but....I aint buyin it man
See, imo I Can't Feel My Face sounds like his new shit, only good. The Hills and Often (the oldest tracks, surprise) are the two that sound most like classic Abel to me.
they just don't get it man, the nintendo ds on the cover are like a metaphor for how lupe plays the game
glorified ot posters
whew all the references about stretching and dhalsim and Tron
After his dope work on Compton I really should.Did anybody listen to the Anderson.Paak album
Oh he's got an album out. Might have to check it outDid anybody listen to the Anderson.Paak album
Yeah , Animals is record of the year so far for me.After his dope work on Compton I really should.
It's aiight. That speech at the end though made me facepalm.anybody here seen Dope? it was aiight, a fun little high school movie with a black kid and hip hop culture instead of the usual white ones we've all seen. it drags a bit though and has some really corny stuff...
such as how you're somehow supposed to buy the likes of Asap Rocky, Tyga (fuckin Tyga) and Kap G (...) as tough thugs.
snoop relevant again
Ehh got bored halfway through. Lots of throwback on the radio it seems.Woops, I accidentally enjoyed that.
