Damn, this dude's all over the place. Not too far off from how I'd score it though, like a 7 or maybe 7.5. Good album.

Basically it's a big ass Soundcloud mix but with higher production values. I can see it maybe being dope as a live set or something, but as an album there's no coherent ideas, no point, nothing.

I need to get back into Ableton. I usually cut samples on Audacity and chopped them up on Maschine. I looped every now and then, but most of the time the loop doesn't work out in my favor.

Can't you slice directly on the Maschine? Ableton has some really good automatic warping and slicing functions.


The beat-makers in here should do a compo someday. We decide on one sample and everybody makes a beat with it.

You can, but I find it a bit easier to just take the piece of the song on Audacity since I can turn it into a wav and chopped it up on Maschine. It's weird, but I guess it became a ritual of mine.
