Ok can somebody break it down to me why this mixtape not messing with DS2 any type of way? So far both albums have a equal share of entertainment behind them.

It's just different. There's really only 9 tracks of Future x Drake here.

DS 2 is an entire album with mostly great production crafted specifically for Future (or at least it sounded like it). It's more...substantial I guess? I dunno, hard to describe.

WATTBA is good also, though.

On another note, it feels like Future is killing this album. Dude going ultra in, while Drake is playing the field. This doesn't feel like a joint effort.

DS2 has far better production breh. Blow A Bag alone blows away most of everything on here.

It’s 1995, time to celebrate with a certified “banger” from Dangerous Dame entitled “Escape From The Mental Ward”. I put emphasis on the quotation marks around the word banger because this album is really not that good. It’s short, the tracks are boring, and there is really no high points beside the song “Def, Dumb, and Blind” which left me with all three symptoms after listening to the album. The crazy thing about this album is the fact that it’s going for 100 dollars on Ebay. Bottom line, keep this album in the mental ward and don’t bother paying it a visit. Word on the street is that Master P is dropping a new album in 95, so save your pennies until it’s released. Trust me….

there aint much in it between DS2, 56 Nights and What a Time for me. i like that the tape is driven by Future. it's easier for Drake to fit into Future's sound than the other way.

he was a whiny cornball during his peak too. Cudi was the artist that made me make sure to seperate the real person from their music. Dude is a tool.

I like his sadboy music tho but still

iirc meek mill told his dj to stop playing future during a show a couple of weeks ago, asking the dj something along the lines of "you don't play some real rap shit"
so maybe that's why he was returning some shots

Remember all that talk about releasing the mixtape as an album being a master stroke to get out of the Cash Money deal. This negus probably got a 10 album deal with Birdman lmao...

Yeah the Cash Money deal stuff was just rumors looks like. Drake's tracks over the summer were under Cash Money (Back to Back, Hotline Bling, Right Hand, etc) as is this.

To be fair, Meek copped pleas that same day and said he loved Future on some "us street niggas got to stick together" shit.

But yeah Meek need to just lay low for a bit. Don't go to the club or turn on the radio because you know they're gonna be bumping this new tape
