Man I keep getting hyped for the new Jeezy and then I realize it's 50 songs long with negative 14 features
November 20th. Probably leak in the next 4-5 days. I'm also not gonna listen to these new tracks.I won't even spoil myself with this new Gibbs, I'll just wait for the album. What's the release date?

Gangsta Gibbs can do no wrong. I got the feeling this will have a firm place in my 2015 top 5 as soon as it drops.
Well it is available 👀
Yessssssssssssssss Careless is the track Gibbs performed somewhere like a year ago. I've been waiting for it since that video came out.
Shadow of A Doubt is a Freddie Gibbs sample platter. There's no real sonic or thematic through-line beyond braggadocio drug raps, but you get a little bit of every part of his style from Gangsta Gibbs, to wavy Money Clothes Hoes melodies, to 2009-2010 low key introspection, and even a bit of Pinata style MadGibbs on Extradite. It's all over the place but Gibbs' flow is so damn strong it doesn't matter. Dude hops on any style of production and owns the track, even the back to back helping of derivativeness in Mexico and Packages.
One of the most enjoyable first listens I've had in 2015, and maybe my favorite opening and closing stretches of the year. It's better paced than any album he's done aside from maybe Pinata, the weed carries are kept to a minimum, the production is equal parts banging and wavy; Instant top 3 album. Another year, another dope Freddie Gibbs project.
This is usually where I'd list my standout tracks, but 12 of the 15 are some of the best he's done so far. Pockets ain't empty, cuh, and we ain't hawngry no mo either, bruhs.
Not going to be able to listen until this evening, but are any of the tracks this one?

WHEW, this is really good. I remember liking something you posted from them last year or so, too.
Nah.
Dope!
Smoooth, mhmm.
Goesss.
Nice!
Nah.
Okay.
Alchemist's Retarded Alligator Beats gets better with every listen. Some serious earbugs on this.
Can I get a PM about that Gibbs? I don't see it on the mixtape sites and such.
Pretty bad. Need that pharrell stanley impression though.
I hate to admit this but I've never listened to a full Redman album. So what's his best? I've got Dare Iz A Darkside, Whut? Thee Album and Muddy Waters. Wondering what is his best. Started Whut? Thee Album right now.
THanks for taking the time man! I actually agree about the Young Scooter, it didn't last long, but I'm still gonna pimp Year of the Savage shit is banging to me.Went through these:
