only true danny brown fans will get this reference

Yeah it's a shame none of the CDs come with a dildo in the collector edition

...well damn

Yo that Missy video already at 5m+ views and still growing like a beast

#respectyourelders

heads been waiting on missy since that superbowl

That Rapper Big Pooh and Nottz album is out too. Sounds pretty good

I just copped this, haven't listened to it yet.

ya'll gotta post impressions of this one

Tempted to say Mudface is Redman's best solo album/tape/whatever since Doc's Da Name 2000/Malpractice days. The only thing it's missing are those electronic-funk bassline/guitar heavy Erick Sermon beats. It's still Redman, but it leans on the hard/hype tracks without the darker, hazy side to balance it out. Like, imagine Redman on some Doppelgangaz production jesus christ

If you have room in your heart for a 2015 take on a certain breed of late 90s/early 2000s music, check this out. My favorite track is probably Gettin Inside. Also can't help but feel like Let It Go would've been a big single in that DMX/Ludacris/Diplomats era.

hyyyyype - i love Doc's Da Name 2000 so i'm gonna be all over this, thanks net

Fuck logic

someone post that clip of logic being an idiot

"i dont go outside because i dont like people" or whatever the fuck he said. shit had me laughing.

yeah, or that he don't protest cause he's too real & he'd get clapped up for it or some such shit

Posted? Retro Su$h! (Jace & CeeJ) - Did It video. Beat got me floating. Mike WiLL continues to impress.

Mike Dean - White Black Jesus. Neat.

Waka Flocka Flame - Blue or Red (Prod. by Southside & Metro Boomin'). That hook is infectious. Off of Flockaveli 1.5 out next Friday apparently.

2 Chainz ft. Jeezy - BFF (Remix). :dame

Jadakiss ft. Lil Wayne - Kill (Prod. by Bangladesh). Wack in so many ways.

R. Kelly ft. Juicy J - Marching Band. This plays to none of their strengths.

New Pusha is tough as fuck. Knocks and has the lyrics to boot. Still think it's weird they came out with the lyrics first, but I guess the marketing worked.
New Missy is terrible. Some cool video editing tricks but otherwise FOH. That chorus is unbearable.
New 50 is okay, can't help but bump your head to that shit. Great production.
New Metro Thuggin' grew on me as it went on. Song really builds through all those flows. Metro Thuggin' continues to be the holy grail of rap moving forwards.

Future Performs "Blow A Bag" & "Where Ya At" On Jimmy Kimmel Live!

This Where Ya At remix is so fire.

I don't think it's as good as God Complex, he went for something a bit more personal and intimate and honestly it hasn't grabbed me in the same fashion that God Complex immediately did. I think rappers sometimes get too caught up in trying to be everymen and ignoring their biggest strengths out of fear of pigeonholed or looked down upon as shallow. And while it's nowhere near a conscious album, it's a bit more serious and less carefree in comparison to God Complex. Goldlink's strengths lie in this sort of wavy midtempo space and his rap style lends itself best to those kind of late night party chillout grooves. Ignorance is definitely bliss in this case.

Enzo you down with Retro Sushi, good looks fam.

Logic has always been a decent rapper. He's so derivative. He uses the same flow on every song. He's uninteresting, he can rap though. That's all I can really say about this album, and even his last one. Oh, and the beats are good.

Not gonna lie, both Ross and Jeezy started dropping completely garbage singles at a rapid pace and I tuned myself out from anything either of them are pushing out at this time. Don't feel like I'm missing anything from the tumbleweeds otherwise too.

Huh.

Jeezy album is kinda dope.

The one weird criticism I'd give is that the album BANGS, but a lot of it is that trap sound from 3-5 years ago modernized a bit, horns and what not. It'd be cool if he actually had more features from the new atlanta, feel like it would add a nice touch to some of these beats.

Really enjoying it tho

Apparently RHQ has a debut album coming up soon. Feel like he fell off pretty hard in 2015.

Speaking of... http://www.datpiff.com/Rich-Homie-Quan-Album-Before-The-Album-mixtape.746871.html

RHQ is dumb. Oooh been one of the biggest joints of the year (I can't stand it tho). His team should've went into album mode as soon as it started catching and pulled the best 13 tracks he did all year. Instead they releasing a bunch of garbage ass mixtapes. It'd be aight if they was fire like Futures but he basically wasted that single.
