So Danny Brown is going to make a shitty nu metal album? K. Hope he somehow makes a good album in spite of the influence from angsty white teen of the early 00's music. XXX was the shit and Old was pretty good.

Hercules a classic just for having all 3 Metro tags on one track. Pretty sure thats a first. It also help that Thug floated on the track and did the Keef flow/voice on the hook too.

i think its too ambitious for it's own good. all people really wanted from him was 12 tracks that went hard like Blase, Or Nah and Paranoid.

instead we got:
- some wacky acoustic shit with Babyface (i actually like this one tbh tho)
- a fucking Stargate dollar store edm track. shit had me crying laughing.
- whatever the fuck the Ye track is.
- Jagged Edge in 2015 (no Ty. no)

Disagree about TI - he can still come in and do the "rap godfather of the south w/ gravitas thing" for dudes like thugger or la flame. But yeah, washed as a solo act.

I haven't listened but the pastor theme for the album doesn't seem to have worked. He did do promo for it but nobody cared. There should be some dope songs on there to put in rotation.

Listened to the first few tracks on Jeezy's new record. Really average stuff. He seems to be hinting at conscious stuff but then of course ends up making the same Jeezy tracks he's always been making.

The new Mac Miller is one of those albums I totally forgot about even though I liked them, too. Gonna relisten again now.

NICE, just found a Firefox add-on for "Play/Pause" icons on tabs which are playing something (at least for supported sites) so you can control them without having to switch to them. This plus the already recently added "Mute" icon makes browsing a lot more comfortable.

Thugger is probably trying to get all the leaked tracks out asap

AFAIK none of the Migos Thuggin tracks leaked so he is probably saving that for next year.

Mixtapes are good, but I still want to know when he is going to release album quality shit because he seems to be working very fast.

im pretty sure all the shit thug releasing this year is stuff he did like 12-18 months ago. i feel like i read that from some rap writer on twitter.
