assorted thoughts on Electric Highway
- cash mixtape. upgrade on Driving 88 in every way. Rockie putting that MMG access to good use.
- production is tight. not a lot of guests, glad there's no meek mill or wale, although i think wale could spit some fly shit on some of these beats.
- clearly Rockie has the ability to put a good project together, but he just needs a swag upgrade to take his shit to the next level. adlibs, more energy, character in his voice.
- for his next project he needs to spend a lot of time looking at himself as an MC. because these regular dude bars ain't gonna cut it if he wants to be a star. there's a few tracks where he hits the mythical "it" but you gotta be able to crank those out at will.
- best MMG project this side of Rich Forever.
- standout tracks: The Warning, Roll Up Right Now, Father Forgive Em
- if i had to throw a number on it...8/10.
