Sorry man, I just dont think Hybrid is as good as you say it is, although I'd feel fine subbing it out for Big Boi. The production doesn't appeal to me as much. As for Death is Silent- it's good but i dont feel it like that. Kno on the mic just isnt for me although I'll cede that the beats are great and the execution of the concept is very well done (unlike MBTDF)

Fat Trel is technically a better rapper than Keef, but Keef just makes more enjoyable songs imho. Trel's songs go "harder" but Keef has something that makes him way more listenable to me.

After all this time, my 2010 AOTY would be a 5 way tie between Roots' How I Got Over, Kno's Death is Silent, K.R.I.T.'s Wuz Here, S.A.S.' In Search of Stoney Jackson, and Curren$y's Pilot Talk.

Still happy with my original vote with Roots getting the AOTY though.

I liked Arms and Hammers way better, but Stoney Jackson was def good.

Just copy a link from the website and replace it with "33"

Trel is incredibly inconsistent. I think he has potential, but at the moment he needs to stop trying to appeal to everyone. Right now it's like he is a "hard" version of Wale

2010 was such a good year of hip-hop, damn. That year was like the culmination of my growth in hip-hop listening through HS. Swear, nothing is more nostalgic than albums when you're young. Death is Silent was so amazing,
and so was MBDTF.

Agreed. I still go back and forth between Teflon Don and Flockavelli... but I think Teflon Don is still the high water mark for that kind of trap sound.

Lupe's verse on Don't Stop is one of my favourite of all time. It's amazing. Too bad we'll never see some real CRS shit :(
