Kim was Paris hot friend and Ray J was Brandy's brother. Both were just scene kids before the porno. After it came out both used who they were fucking to get fame and cash. Ray J with the jumpoffs on his show and Kim by being wifed up by celebs to get her own projects green lighted.

As for kim's father yeah he made money and then he died and it wasn't long enough to cover the expenses of a wife, her boytoy, and his daughters forever. They need the fame to generate the money.

As for the coli pic ..... ok warning heard, but those shits are effective.

Let me get this straight. TDE released a Jay Rock freestyle over a beat dudes were rapping over months ago...? I'm telling you guys, they aren't ready for prime time. They haven't figured out the output balance between being a struggling underground group to being one of the biggest crews in the world. Pre-Section80 they were releasing shit all the time, and making money. Now they don't seem to know how to move. Are mixtapes out of style now, for them?

Jay Rock should have had a mixtape out this year, to build hype for a 2014 album. Q should have had this album out in the summer. Ab...whatever, 2014. And then have Kendrick drop an EP with Cole in December, out of nowhere. That's how you fucking own a year, and build for the next one.

You're definitely right. Aside from the obvious kendrick promotion advantage of signing with Interscope, it might have fucked them. If Q and Soul were still independent we woulda already had that Jmsn x Soul EP (which will never drop now) and a Q album this year.

yeah. releases have been way less frequent since the signing. i remember the glory days of hnc releasing like 5 songs on youtube before the album came out.

So I downloaded the audio push mixtape "come as you are" and it was amazing.... those kids really blew me away.... its like that classic detroit sound (same samples) meet pharcyde lite vocals.

And the fact they admit their earlier style was wack and regret it now was what really won me over.
