Sounds really Controlly to me. Sure, he wouldn't be on there without GKMC, but GKMC is what gave him the resume to back his claims on Control.
Pusha T says Q-Tip was supposed to be very instrumental in the production of Cruel Winter when it was an idea. Might be some creative cutting by Vlad, but I doubt this even got beyond an idea. Both Tip and Ye wanted to focus on their solos at the time.

Because a good album requires doing work, moving around, not getting as high as you want, and listening to what the RZA is telling you. Nobody got time for that shit. I honestly blame the Wu's fanbase a lot too. The Wu has so many dickriders and weed carriers it's like they have a permanent underclass to leech off of relatively comfortably for the forseeable future, just like MF DOOM. You take that away, you decrease that fanbase, you give these guys debts; they'll pull a Nas and start rapping like they give a shit again.

Method Man learns from mistakes, the one time he didn't have RZA running the show on his album, it wasn't up to par for him. He knows where he's best at. Rae should've learned that lesson a long time ago.
