Blu has some good mixtapes without Exile, but I agree Little Brother should actually get more credit. Also I'd recommend Shad's TSOL for anyone that likes Kendrick Lamar.
I don't get why people are so into sports, but I'm a very very light fan. People identify with teams like they're actually on the squad and influencing the game directly, it's kind of pathetic. I also don't get why athletes make so much money to play a meaningless game that has absolutely no bearing on anyone's life.

Two average albums you mean. Two weren't enough?
He has all that unreleased material set to a heart monitor. When he dies all the tracks get destroyed.I wonder how much amazing music he has sitting around that isn't going to see the light of day till like he dies and some huge expensive boxed set comes out.
Just looking at all the unfinished projects of artists who came and went from Aftermath, it makes you wonder...
Just watch, we'll get like 6 detox albums in one giant boxed set.
Has and variations of 10: Mackelmore is the only one with anything to say. Been suggested yet?
Saw Hudson mowhawk last night, has he dont a bit with Action Bronson? as Id never heard it before and it had Hudmos trade mark sound.
Not sure how OverDoz. can be so consistent in their releases, Boom is just as good as their last album.
I worded it bad but I think there is a difference between not liking sports but understanding why people are into it (competition/entertainment) and then those who don't like sports and make it their business to ruin the experience for those who do like it (I have friends like that). Similar to some people who don't get or like rap but then also have to make sure others agree with them all the time.
To me its just as pathetic as people getting worked over other "meaningless" things like music, video-games, or whatever other hobbies there are. I mean everything is meaningless if you break it down. Why would the money athletes bother you when musicians also make absurd amounts of money. In other words we all have certain interests which we get heavily invested into but if you take a step back they don't really affect us in any real way.
The "we" talk doesn't bother me. No one actually says it believing they are a part of the team. It just comes out. Almost like when you discuss teams you become a representative of your team or their moves so you end up using we. At least I never think I am a part of the team. Only time that works is when you are at the game and with crowd noise can affect the opposition.
As for the money...it is absurd but compared to the leagues, what the owners make, and how much networks make, it is a fraction of that revenue. I do think all sports needs to have a cap like the NBA and NFL have so you can't just pay an infinite amount like the Yankees used to. But it doesn't bother me that players make $100M contracts when the owners are making billions and the leagues are making even more.
Damn how was Hudmo ? Always wondered how he'd be live I'm a big fan of butter and his GOOD music work.

Have you checked out his earlier releases? Good stuff in there.
Kendrick Lamar- Overly Dedicated and Section.80
Blu & Exile- Below the Heavens
J. Cole- The Warm Up
Can you name any others besides Kendrick? I go back and forth between the two's verses on that song but overall the coldness of Pusha's baby scheme wins me over.I am liking Pusha T's My Name is My Name but the majority of the songs on it feature artists that actually manage to sound better than Pusha T (like Kendrick)
yes. stan with me, please
Musicians are artists and most of them don't make nearly as much as even the average athlete. Artists offer a reflection on life and put out a tangible product, which can be purchased and used within one's home.

Really can't see anyone saying Sean/2Chainz/Liva/Chris Brown/Jeezy/Cossom/Rowland stole the show.
I was just trying to get a feel to see what you would like. Not the same as Kendrick, but if you want a look at some variation from recent years, check out these:Thank. m.A.A.d is a bit better than Section.80. Going through Overly Dedicated. Not really into J. Cole like that.
Temporary Forever, Fear of a Black Tangent, Memoirs of the Elephant Man (reeeeaaaalllly rough around the edges, probably one of the most unique but unaccessible rap albums I've ever heard)Wanna get into Busdriver, what are the essentials?

Bobby raySo is there anything worthwhile left to listen to in December?
so I'm listening to this ghostface bullets wallet Bootleg.... and I now understand why ghost held a grudge over motherfuckers not clearing samples and shit. This would of a been a classic the way he had it planned......
